two clients can ask for the exact same brow and still need completely different shapes.

after 15+ years in beauty, one thing I’ve learned is this:

PMU is NOT copy + paste.

a beautiful result isn’t just about making a brow darker, a lip pinker or an eyeliner wing longer.

it’s about understanding balance.

👀 BROWS should work with the client’s facial structure, natural growth and proportions.

💋 LIPS should enhance the existing anatomy and create visual balance—not try to manufacture a completely different mouth.

✨ EYELINER should work with the eye shape, lid space and anatomy—not just follow whatever wing is trending this week 😂

and THIS is exactly why I teach my students:

don’t memorize shapes. learn how to ASSESS.

because two clients can walk in asking for the exact same thing…

and your professional recommendation might be completely different.

that’s where theory matters.

mapping matters.

consultation matters.

and knowing the WHY behind your technique REALLY matters.

and honestly… I love it 😂

because for years I was so focused on working, building, achieving and figuring out the next thing…

that I forgot the whole point was to actually enjoy the life I was building.

now my weekends look a little less “productive” and a lot more like:

coffee.
snacks.
running after a toddler.
dinosaurs everywhere.
and me checking my phone for 2 seconds before hearing…

“MOMMY!” 😂

but THIS is exactly why flexibility matters to me.

I don’t want a career that only looks good from the outside.

I want one that gives me space for real life too.

messy weekends.
family time.
random dinosaur parties.
and all. 🤍

and yes… Monday I’ll be back thinking about brows, students and PMU again 😂

but today?

I’m just trying to survive toddler energy.
