Let’s talk colours👇🏼

Colours change the entire vibe of your photos and play a huge role in how the final images feel.

If you’re going for light and airy photos, lighter colours are key. Creams, soft neutrals, light greys, and pastels reflect light and keep everything feeling bright, clean, and timeless. These tones photograph beautifully in natural light and help create that soft, effortless look so many people love.

If you want more contrast and depth, darker colours do that naturally. Black, deep browns, charcoal grey, navy, and forest green add mood and richness to your images. These shades work especially well for a more dramatic and cozy feel because of the contrast.

When shooting with a partner or kids, think coordinated, not matching. Choose a colour palette and mix tones within it so everyone looks cohesive without wearing the exact same thing. This keeps photos feeling elevated and natural.

This is one of those small details that makes a big difference in how your photos turn out.
