We did a full head of foils with a shadow root for extra blendyness.

I promise I will never bs you with what’s achievable with your hair and I’ll always go over price before we start. My specialty is low maintenance colour and balayage. I’m a busy mom and I know hair colour has to fit your lifestyle, most of my clients only need to come 2-3 time per year.
I will always give you my honest opinion about what would look best but I will never shame you or tell you what’s wrong with your hair or try and upsell you on an unnecessary (and sometimes damaging) services.

This year I had the pleasure of helping both J & C get ready for their wedding day. It was such a treat getting to move from one ‘getting ready room’ to the next and to help both brides create totally different looks (that looked so beautiful together!!) I loved being able to celebrate their love and be a part of both of their mornings!

If you’re blonde already, going pink is a breeze and fades beautifully back to a gorgeous baby blonde.

Book in for a trim and add a little glaze or chunk of pink, it only takes about 15mins.
(Cut is $65, glaze/toner is $25-$60)

It’s such a treat to see all the gorgeous natural blonde tones that pop out as I’m curling and weaving the different strands.

Full colour $120 (roots, pull through & blow dry)
Glaze/toner (& blow dry) $100
Blonding $150 (includes 30g lightener, 60g toner & blow dry)
Extras:
Each additional 30g of lightener $20
Olaplex treatment no 1 & 2 $30
K18 treatment $35 (includes take home 5ml molecular repair mask)
Root smudge/shadow after highlights $20
Haircut $30 (add on to colour only)

Down the rabbit hole I go…

After I posted the ‘who owns the shampoo aisle’ video in my stories yesterday, I’ve gotten so many questions about what haircare brands to use so you’re not supporting big money (the big investing firms that control like half of the world’s money.)

The basic answer is to buy your haircare at a small salon!!! But… (and it’s a big one 🍑) Being sold in a salon isn’t the be all and end all. Buying from a salon ensures that SOME of the profit goes directly to the salon (ie their markup, which is somewhere between 30-50%, although don’t forget to minus operating costs of a brick and mortar store and commission, if the stylist is being fairly compensated) Most salon haircare brands are not privately owned, so the majority of profits, go back to investment firms (and they don’t care about your hair, trust me…)

There are still very few family owned brands, let alone Canadian family owned brands to chose from. And I mean performance is important too, just cause it’s Canadian family owned doesn’t mean it’s nice to use or good for your hair.

This is seriously nuts to me and something deep within me has been awakened. I’ll absolutely be sharing my discoveries so make sure you’re following along!

I have very, very limited availability but I am slowly starting to take clients again. But only for a month or so because WE ARE MOVING!!

As of Easter Weekend, we will be the newest residents of OKOTOKS!!

We are so fricken excited to leave the big city and put down some roots in the cutest little town that we have absolutely fallen in love with.

Don’t worry, there’s a little office space that will make the perfect salon and realistically, it’s only 10mins south of Calgary, it’s probably closer to some of you than I am now!

It just may take we a couple weeks to get everything moved and set up.
