I've been reflecting on how far along the healing path I've walked over the last five years. I want to share a few books that have helped me navigate fun topics like grief, abandoned, childhood attachment wounds, and love 😉

I love the idea that words can be the water where the land is dry. And we all face dry times in this very mysterious Earth School...

Books like these have helped me deepen my character, my heart, my psyche, and my soul.

Applying what I've read ( that's the hard part!) has helped me do a lot of things:

I'm able to show up even when it's hard.
I'm able to forgive myself when I don't show up the way I want to.
I'm able to tolerate discomfort to get to the growth.
I'm even able to be in a room with people I'd rather not be (when it's important).

I'm also able to do cool things like grow as a person, woman, mother (and maybe one day partner).

I'm even learning to tolerate joy so I can make room for more joy (if you know you know!)

And may I also say, I have developed some serious poise, courage and commitment to myself.

A lot of our achievements go unnoticed and uncelebrated, but tonight I'm celebrating my inner work.

After walking home alone from a co-parenting event that would have made me super shaky even 1year ago, I know something.

I've got me.

Note, I didn't say, "I've got this."

Because, "this" and "me" are two very different things. And I do not always "got this"

I don't have any control over "this", but I do have control over me, my thoughts, my behaviour, and the ability to meet my own needs.

So endeth the lesson ❤
