Good news: we packed plenty for tomorrow’s first of the 2026 season

After a day of waiting, this is where you finally get to see what happened inside the mold.
Every bar turns out a little different—and that’s kind of the point.
There’s always a moment where everything comes together.
Oils, lye, colour, scent…
and then suddenly it’s not separate anymore—it’s soap.
This one is Lemon Verbena—bright, fresh, a little bit of sunshine after a long winter. 🍋🌿

Spring might technically be here… but it still looks very winter out there ❄️
In the studio though, things are smelling like spring. I’ve been working on some new bath bombs and soaps with lighter, fresher scents — the kind that make it feel like warmer weather is actually on its way.

So much of running a small business happens after the making—
labeling, packaging, weighing options, and trying to do it thoughtfully.
Packaging provides information, protects the product, adds cost, and can create waste if we’re not careful. Finding the right balance between function, impact, and responsibility is something I think about a lot.
