We are back (temporarily) and orders are open!!
Hello Pancake gang, we are excited to announce that our February 2025 trial is open for orders. We will be hitting up the east enders first on February 8th, 2025 and then the west enders on February 15th, 2025.
**Because February is the month of love and friendship we have a little special: Orders of 3 or more will receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling juice (apple pear or apple raspberry)**
Orders will be done as usual, but please see the following slide for a refresher on our instructions. Delivery is free with a minimum of 2 orders. If you want a solo order delivery fee is $3.

Yes yes yes! SG is happy to announce a March Break delivery special ^^ . Please read the full menu and notes and as always DM to make an order ! Note: we will lump Barrhaven deliveries in with the Kanata route!
Remember $2.50 delivery fee if for one order. 2+ orders get the delivery fee waived.
3+ orders get a choice of a free coconut whip cream or 3 free double chocolate almond chip cookies

Thinking of introducing (selling or adding) these marvelous double chocolate chocolate chip and almond cookies to our pancake orders happening on March break (dates and orders to be announced soon!) But let us know if you'd be interested in a) 3+ orders recieved 3 free cookies and b) ordering by 1/2 and full dozen?
Do note: these are not available in GF so we would offer our regular coconut whip cream for the 3+ orders.
Of course these are NOT nut free as they have full almonds . Will be made separately than our pancakes ... But remember we are never a certified nut, seed, or peanut free kitchen xoxox

It has been an amazing spring/summer! Never thought doing home deliveries would have turned out so well, I thank everyone really for supporting us through these tough times.
As some know I will be back in school which means busy busy busy (I will also be working and volunteering). My hope is to offer ad-hoc deliveries once in a while to all Ottawa regions and Hull once every other Sunday for the month of September and October - More details soon.
So if you want guaranteed pancakes. Join us in celebrating our final weekend of FULL SERVICE. Xoxox.
After that However, I may be asked to move to MTL for the remainder of the academic program. It shall be the end of SG as we know it 💓😭🥞👼.

WHO 🥞:
My mother and I will be the only workers and handlers as we both stay home permanently and only leave to do safe and responsible grocery runs.
WHAT 🥞:
Vegan Pancakes:
-Original (10$)
-Chocolate Chip (12$)
-Cheddar (14$)
-Classic Trio / One of each (12$)
-GF option for original and Chocolate chip (12$)
One order consists of:
-3 Large Pancakes
-3oz Pure Maple Syrup
-3 Small scoops of Vegan Butter (usually Earth Balance)
*Order with us through Direct/Instant messaging on IG or FB
**All orders and payments must be placed by 6pm the day before delivery request.
***Delivery Fee $2.50. Order 2+ and delivery fee is waived.
WHEN 🥞:
We will be delivering from Thursday to Sunday.
Deliveries will be done between 8am and 11am.
*We will do our best to respect delivery preference between the above time frame. We will also confirm ETA the previous day.

We only Service the general Ottawa region (Bayshore to Gloucester and Centretown to Nepean/South Keys/Hunt Club.
Kanata and Orleans are serviced on ad-hoc announced days.

COOKING SPACE 🥞:
Since all spaces are closed for good reason, we will be operating from our home. We have stocked up on disinfectants and cleaning supplies and will do a complete wash of our kitchen and selves (wearing hospital grade masks and gloves) prior to handling and packaging any order. Please also let us know of any sensitivities or allergies.

How have everyone's mornings been?! Filled with family and friends I hope 🌼! We at SG would like to continue to thank all of you who have made us a part of your brunches 👼🏼.
For that we want to add a "Pijama and Pancake" special : Order 3+ orders of any kind and get a free coco🌴whip cream! (While supplies last).
We are hoping to continue this adventure on past August (maybe until end of October) , but soon we will have to say another short goodbye, until next season.

Guess what?! This weekend we will be adding complementary (3oz) dandelion honey to every two orders placed! 🥞🥞.
We've been experimenting with making homemade dandelion honey! And we're in love! We want to know now what YOU think 🐝.
We've managed to make a liquid and a more harder honey with our steeped dandelions. Really easy to make and many recipes and videos online!

Saint Griddle: (Mexican-Canadian) born Sir Ámica Griddle-Plancha (March 30, 2016) is a griddle who, since conception, has dedicated its life to bringing compassion and deliciousness through pancakes. These pancakes (and everything in its life) are made without the harm and exploitation of humans and non-human animals. Beyond the abstinence of harm, Sir Ámica also contributes towards community and animal organizations by raising funds and awareness, and by preaching compassion. Thus, on September 2, 2018 Sir Ámica Griddle-Plancha was canonized to whom we now know as: Saint Griddle.

Saint Griddle Forgiveness Prayer: We would like to take a moment here to ask for forgiveness to the real Saints that have been and are continuously being forgotten, ignored, and subjected to death and harm indirectly on this planet. Because there are too many to name, I will divide our prayer for animals (and humans) from each industry:
-Science industry;
-Agriculture industry;
-Fashion Industry;
-Commodity Industry (including deforestation);
-Culling Industry;
-Construction Industry (including road kill);
-Mining, Technology, and Oil Industry
-Energy and Nuclear Industry
-Cosmetic Industry;
-Entertainment and Zoo Industry;
-Trapping Industry (including rats, and other animals deemed pest);
-Hunting Industry;
-Fishing Industry;
-Transportation Industry (including service animals who were forced to be in wars, go up into space and those still bound to carriages).
Let us not forget those animals who have died during natural disasters, and those caught in natural disasters while being kept confined for insurance purposes.
Let us also not forget our insect and plant friends (i.e. bees, beetles, plankton, ants; earth worms; etc.) who have also been subjected to harm and destruction on our watch.
***************************************************************************************About the Vegan Family:
Natasha Zepeda: Creator and Owner of Saint Griddle. I (along with my family) went vegan in 2014 where my interest in food really peaked. Because veganism allows one to look at food in a different light, and discover new ingredients and ways of using the new and old ingredients, it encouraged fun experimental moments in the kitchen. Some things were a little weird, some textures fell apart, and some things even tasted awful. But, after 6 months we became family experts in vegan cuisine. We even found exhilarating ways to maintain our Mexican cultural heritage by keeping all the spice and s***k but getting rid of the harm. I was also granted the opportunity to work in two vegan restaurants as a baker and to work in a catering business. These particular work experiences really gave me the aspiration to one day open up my own business. So, I began to experimenter with many different baking recipes and to veganize them in a way that either became an excellent alternative or new stand-alone good recipes. So back in 2016 after 3 months of trial and error our vegan, totally fluffy, delicious, and diner style pancakes were born.
I also hold a bachelor’s degree in anthropology where I dedicated my research in integrating non-human animal and environmental discussions.
Eugenia Zepeda
Greatest mother alive. I may be a tiny bit biased but this woman has dedicated her life in becoming an overall just, compassionate, and understanding person on all fronts. Not only has she fought day in and out for her kids, but also for the animals in our life. She also extends her time and love to the people and animals most in need through aid, donations, food, a listening ear, and prayer.
Eugenia was a professional ballerina as a young adult turned mother, turned payroll accountant, turned now hairstylist and Saint Griddle accounts manager.
