A Step Up Stair Co. is now part of Stocker Construction!
After a year of pausing operations at our workshop, we are back.
Same high quality stairs, same contact information, bigger crew!

These old stairs definitely needed to be replaced! The new ones will be much stronger and last way longer. These stairs had to cover quite the distance, we went with an 18" run and they are surprisingly comfortable!

We finally got these stairs installed! Beautiful oak treads and risers, but wow, keeping the dog hair and slobber off the nice black finish is going to be quite the struggle!

Also, we are looking for a quality hand/guardrail builder and installer. It's not something that we usually do or have time for, and the homeowners are having a hard time getting a quote! Let us know!

Stripping forms on the weekend means the head supervisor gets to make a site visit!

Took full advantage of the on and off rainy day and got these stairs for .foot.construction finished up!

First picture is of the old set of stairs we replaced. The new stairs are much stronger and don't make you feel like you need your sea legs while walking up them!
Last slide is Shane absolutely covered in dirt from a previous site, while finishing up the (client requested) old railing re-install.

That's a big set of stairs! We love working with LVL

And the homeowners choice of stain is.... black!
We were pretty hesitant after first hearing their choice, but after the first coat (first picture) our minds were definitely beginning to change. After the second coat (second photo), we were sold!
We love the way it makes the grain really pop, and they're still getting 3 coats of a protective sealant to really finish things off.

Dry fit and cut everything to length, biscuit joined the risers to the treads and got a quick coat of pre-stain wood conditioner on everything, these stairs are going to look great!
