14 years of motherhood.

The last two years have been about something deeper—parenting, healing, and learning who I am again outside of everything I once thought defined me. The family, the house, the job, the titles I held… none of it ever compared to being MOM.

Because of Zayne, because of the collapse and rebuilding of our worlds, we are now learning how to come back home to ourselves. Constantly doing self-inventory. Constantly remembering my WHY.

And my WHY always comes back to the same place: I am his mom. And I had a mom who taught me what love looks like. I watched love through so many people, but she taught me something I didn’t always understand at the time—that love doesn’t end, and resilience is a way of life.

Yesterday I celebrated Mama Beth—my mama. If you hadn’t adopted me and my sisters, I wouldn’t be here. If you hadn’t taught me that love has no limits, I wouldn’t know how to find my way back when I feel lost. If you hadn’t shown me the strength of being a woman, I wouldn’t be who I am today.

I’m also deeply grateful for the incredible women, girls, and friends in my life—past and present—who have shared space with me. I learned to braid because of my sisters, and now I do it to share love. To hold space. To listen. To connect.

I love hearing your stories—what you’ve overcome, what you’re carrying, what you’re still working through. When you sit in my chair, I hope you know I truly appreciate every moment you trust me with your presence.

Over 280 referral clients later, I feel incredibly blessed. Braiding is my sole income right now, and it means everything to me. It’s given me back my peace, my time, and my presence.
