And it doesn’t have to be a weekend getaway! Overland Massage is also available for events and group bookings. Whether it’s a camping or overlanding gathering, a wellness retreat, a wedding, or a private group getaway, I can bring the massage experience to you. 🏕️✨

🔥 The original red light therapy…

Long before red light therapy became a wellness trend, we had fire. 🔥

There’s something about sitting around a campfire that just makes your body slow down. The warmth, the glow, the crackling of the fire… it naturally creates a feeling of relaxation and calm.

Fire gives off red and near-infrared light, the same general part of the light spectrum used in modern red light therapy. These wavelengths can interact with the body and are being studied for things like supporting circulation, cellular energy and recovery.

So while a campfire isn’t a replacement for a red light therapy device, maybe our ancestors were onto something. 😉

Sometimes the best kind of therapy is simply sitting outside, breathing in the fresh air, and watching the fire burn.

We’re excited to announce that Overland Massage will be partnering with Slow Living Acres to bring massage services to this beautiful off-grid canvas yurt on a peaceful farm in Central Alberta. 🌲✨

A place to slow down, disconnect, and enjoy a little more time in nature — with a little relaxation added in. 🤎

We’re still working out the details, so exact services, dates and times will be announced soon.
