Dear friends, as much as this saddens me to announce; The Brow Effect Sk is closing its chapter. Due to life changes, a full time position elsewhere and being a busy mom, it hurts me to say that I will no longer have the time to run my business. I’ve had such wonderful YEARS of meeting every one of my clients, who’ve turned into longtime friends that every appointment felt like checking in, the story continued and we jumped right back into the moment. I will forever cherish that experience and be grateful that I received all the support from each and every one of you lovely souls. It’s still amazing to think how far I’ve come, it’s been a 6 year journey and I really committed myself to growing. I’ve been given the opportunity to create art but also make a change in someone’s confidence. It felt such an honour to be part of that. Thank you for always trusting me, the process and now the end. For now. Thank you to Salon AMP, Honeybee and Drinkle3 for giving me a space to work my magic.

That being said, I will no longer be taking new appointments by the 20th of this month but will continue to fit in touch ups till the end of the month. My schedule with 5 kids and a new full time position will be a lot to juggle so please bear with me! Thank you for understanding.

Hey ladies! For those who I have yet to meet, my name is Sanda and I’m the owner/brow artist behind The Brow Effect Sk. I rarely post about myself on my brow page.. actually I would say I don’t post much about myself at all. It could be due to the fact that I’m a busy mom of 5 and if I’m not in the studio meeting all my lovely clients, I’m at home catering to a busy household!

Here’s a little bit about me: I was born in Bangkok, Thailand but moved to Canada in ‘95 being 6 months old with my immigrant refugee parents and older sister who fled a civil war that’s still happening to this day. I have been doing brows for 6 years now but prior to this endeavour I have always enjoyed being creative in the arts. I love cooking but I’m even a bigger foodie!
