Perimenopause & Menopause are so much more than just hot flashes. You deserve to be heard!

HRT is one of the most misunderstood topics in perimenopause + menopause.

And I get it — there is SO much conflicting information online.

Here’s what I want women to know:

✔ Hormone levels fluctuate in perimenopause
✔ Testing doesn’t always tell the full story
✔ Decisions should be based on your symptoms, health history, and goals
✔ And importantly… HRT isn’t the answer for everyone.

Optimal health looks different for every woman.
Sometimes lifestyle support is the foundation.

And sometimes?
HRT is the missing piece of the puzzle.

✨ If you’re craving deeper support, real education, and a space to feel grounded again…

Ever notice how one holiday drink now comes with hot flashes, jitters, or a 3am wake-up?

Some studies have shown that estrogen can stimulate the release of histamine — and alcohol both contains histamine and slows the body’s ability to clear it. During perimenopause, fluctuating hormones may amplify that effect.

The result for some women?
🔥 Flushing
😴 Poor sleep
💓 Racing heart
😵‍💫 Next-day anxiety

This isn’t about willpower — it’s physiology. And it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the holidays. It simply means your body works a little differently right now.

If you’re navigating sleep disruption, hot flashes, or anxiety in midlife, my Education & Strategy Session is a supportive first step.

💗 You’re not broken — you’re in transition.

💤Trouble with sleep?

You’re not alone — and it’s one of the most overlooked symptoms of the perimenopause transition.

As estrogen and progesterone shift, many women start experiencing:

• Difficulty falling asleep
• 3–5am wake-ups
• Night sweats
• Feeling “tired but wired”
• Never waking up rested

These changes aren’t “just getting older.”
They’re hormonal — and understanding the why behind them is empowering.

While my upcoming Menopause Myths Workshop on Thursday won’t focus just specifically on sleep, we will be talking about big misconceptions that leave women feeling confused, dismissed, or unsupported during this transition — including symptoms like this that so many women are told are “normal” and nothing can be done about.

If you’ve been wondering whether what you’re experiencing is part of perimenopause (or if you’re just ready to feel like yourself again), come join me.

✨Did you know?

As women go through perimenopause and menopause, things like hot flashes, sweating more, and hormonal shifts can mean more than just mood changes — they can mean your body odor might change too.

When estrogen drops and the balance shifts, your body may sweat differently, the bacteria on your skin may behave differently, and you may even perceive smells differently. It’s totally real, and you’re NOT imagining it.

Here are 3 quick ways to stay fresh and confident:

Wear breathable fabrics and change after a hot flash.

Use a quality antiperspirant + shower when needed.

Hydrate well, manage stress, and be mindful of triggers like spicy food, caffeine, or alcohol.

If you’re noticing odor changes that are bothering you — and especially if they come with other symptoms — talk to your health care provider. You deserve to feel comfortable and confident.

Want to learn more about perimenopause & menopause? Join us Nov 20 for our Peri/Menopause workshop where we will talk about common myths & misconceptions & how women’s Mental health can be affected at this stage in life. Link is in the bio- or message me!

🌸 Your body isn’t broken. It’s communicating.

Hormone shifts, mood changes, fatigue, sleep issues — they’re not random or “just part of getting older.” They’re information.

When you start to listen with curiosity instead of frustration, everything changes.

🩺 As an RN and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, I help women understand what their bodies are telling them — and create a plan to feel like themselves again.

💕 You deserve to be heard, understood, and supported through every stage of womanhood.
