HAICUTS FOR HOPE COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING EVENT

Please join us for the 2nd Haircuts for Hope fundraising event this year to support the unhoused and those struggling with addiction. I personally, will be donating my time and skills to do hair and/or esthetics services. Please join me if you can!

We are currently seeking support in several ways, including:

• Volunteers to assist throughout the event

• Community organizations interested in hosting information booths

• Hair and beauty professionals willing to donate their time and skills

• Silent auction donations and community contributions such as gift certificates, service vouchers, event tickets, handmade items, or donated goods to support fundraising efforts and community engagement

Haircuts for Hope is about more than a single event. It is about communities coming together to respond to addiction and homelessness with compassion, dignity, and collective action.

hello! my name is tabitha (or you can call me tabs)! i am q***r & nonbinary, and i use they/them pronouns. i am 31 years of age and was born and raised here in saskatoon!

i started my journey into the beauty industry in 2024 when i came to mc college to get my nail technician certificate. i went on to get my esthetics diploma in 2025, and am now halfway through my studies for my hairstyling diploma!

i love the beauty industry and everything it has to offer. i particularly love talking with people from all walks of life and getting to know my clients. i got into this industry because it combines two things i am passionate about: art/creativity (i almost went for an arts degree from ACAD but decided not to attend), and helping people to look and feel their best and to help them through both the good and the bad moments in life (i also considered becoming a therapist).

i find helping and supporting people really fulfilling and i find that in this industry that we are like therapists in a lot of ways, AND i have the privilege of helping people to look and feel more like themselves!

my favourite esthetics services to do are nails & nail art, waxing, and facials. favourite hair services include vivids, hair painting/art, shags, mullets, and any & all alternative styles/cuts. if it's out there or kinda weird i'm INTO it, come in and let me do cool & fun stuff to your hair!

in my personal life i enjoy music, anime, dark comedies, snuggling with my cat (her name is egg), raves/music festivals, hanging with friends, and making art.

got to do some fun lightening sessions to create a peekaboo money piece for my pal and a trim for the cut we did last time they were in.

we did a trade of services and they tattooed me in exchange for hair services, so check them out! they're an amazing tattoo artist with lots of weird, cool, and spooky flash! 😍 (also willing to do other trades for cool stuff so hmu if you wanna trade something!)

We offer a variety of brow services, our services and pricing are included in this post.
I will not be offering lamination for a couple of weeks but I will let you know when I am offering this service.
