Many of these advertisements focus on the texture and convenience but don't always clearly explain the chemistry behind the product, how it cures, or what ingredients are being used. As consumers and nail professionals, we deserve transparency.

If a product contains gel-based ingredients, proper curing is essential. When gel products are not fully cured, uncured material can remain trapped between the natural nail and the enhancement.

Potential concerns associated with under-cured nail products can include:• Skin irritation• Contact allergies and sensitivities• Lifting and premature service breakdown• Moisture becoming trapped beneath the enhancement• Increased risk of greenies or other nail issues when lifting occurs

This isn't about fear-mongering or attacking a specific brand. It's about encouraging education and informed choices.
