🚨 BREAKAWAY ROPERS, HEELERS, CUTTERS — PAY ATTENTION 🚨

Up for grabs (and I mean barely, because this one hurts)…

PLAYEM COUGAR “Shorty” AQHA MARE
Born April 11, 2011

👉 Out of High Brow Cougar, a direct son of the legendary High Brow Cat — the #1 all-time leading sire of cutting horses, with offspring earning over $98 MILLION.
These are the kind of genetics people build programs around.

⸻

Standing 14.2 hands, and built like a brick sh*thouse, and wearing the most gorgeous roan coat that turns heads everywhere she goes! This mare is the full package before you even swing a leg over.

She started her career in the cutting pen with the Legend Cayley Wilson (if you know you know) and let me tell you..this mare doesn’t just like cows…
she wakes up every day looking to ruin one’s entire existence.

If a cow gets by her, it’s because she allowed it.

⸻

She later lived the good life on a ranch, owned by the gentleman who raised her from birth. When he downsized, we got lucky… and now unfortunately, so will you.

💔 Let’s be clear:
It absolutely KILLS me to sell her. I will be picky.
Like… If I see her in the wrong hands, I will not hesitate to emotionally spiral. Maybe go to jail. Who knows.

⸻

She has done tons since I’ve owned her.
✔️ Month of heel horse training with Clay Freemantle
✔️ She’s been my consistent breakaway horse
✔️ Jackpots, rodeos, been hauled all over
✔️ Gets compliments everywhere she goes (and she knows it 💅

⸻

This mare is not for the faint of heart. She is sweet as pie on the ground and will take a nap anywhere. But a dragon who wants to work under saddle. She is not suitable as a kids horse but a handy experienced youth who wanted to high school rodeo would get along with her just fine. She is not dangerous by any means. Just a big motor! This mare is “Fancy broke” all the buttons you could ask for.

She has a MASSIVE stop (she is currently shod with sliders)

• Moves out like a dream
• No buck, bolt, or rear
• Never taken a lame step
• Ties, loads, bathes, shoes
• Probably would split the dinner bill if she could..

👉 Cut on her
👉 Rope on her
👉 Compete on her
👉 Breed her and make tiny, expensive, cow-crushing copies with elite bloodlines

Serious inquiries only.
Please don’t waste my time — she’s worth every penny, and if she doesn’t sell, I’ll happily keep riding her and reminding myself why I shouldn’t have listed her in the first place.

It’s the chilly season! 🍂 helping Equine partners keep the stiffness at bay! We may not be able to control the weather but I can make it more bearable!

*Shorty is loving her Saturday massages 💆‍♀️

A Trio of mares..

Honestly Mares tend to have a bad reputation.. but to me they are some of the best horses because they’ve got such grit and heart that’s hard to match. They’re sharp, determined, and when you earn their trust, they’ll give you everything they’ve got.

Mares tend to have that little extra try in them, they’re smart, tough, and often carry a sense of loyalty that makes them incredible partners. They’ll test you at times, but that’s what makes the bond even stronger, once a mare is on your side, she’ll work harder, dig deeper, and fight for you in a way that’s unmatched. It’s that mix of fire and heart that makes them truly special.
