The wildflower Meadow I planted in front of the barn has come up just as I had envisioned. A beautiful spot to meditate!
A few spots left in tonight’s relaxation course.

It’s really windy this morning in Kouchibiquac as I meditate on the shore.
Again the waves and wind have whipped up lots of sea foam.

Today the wind is grabbing giant handfuls of foam and hurling them across the sand.
Leaving a trail of bits and pieces until it deposits a smaller handful further onshore.

And yet again I see the life’s metaphor.

Life taking a big piece of us and sending it down a new path.
Perhaps leaving little bits and pieces of us scattered along the way.

To finally deposit a smaller version us, ready to stretch and grow and conquer new horizons.

Do you see it?

My morning meditation at the shoreline in Kouchibiquac.
As often happens after I meditate, a poem pops into my head.

Sea Foam

Along the shoreline,
In dribs and drabs,
The waters edge is bright with sea foam.

Whipped into existence,
By the fury of the night’s storm.
The work of the wind and waves.

It bobs and floats.
Trying to make its’ way seaward again.
Breaking apart and reforming.

Sometimes becoming stranded on shore.
And often quietly disappearing, As it is absorbed by the fresh morning air.

It reminds me of my life.
Whipped into a frenzy by the latest storm,
Of anxiety or perceived pressure.

Trying desperately to make it back to the place I was.
The place that seems safe.
The place that I know best.

But maybe the storm was meant to wash me to a new shore,
A new path, to help me let go,
Of a perception that I should let quietly disappear.

The storm was meant to create.
To cleanse.
And surely to help me find something new.

Morning meditation view. Kouchibiquac

02/16/2026

This morning’s meditation group was in the flow for sure.
The minute I ground myself and take my opening breaths I can hear my horses sigh and then the licking and chewing begins.
Motorboat is usually the first one to lay down and then Rockstar.
Smoke doesn’t usual lay down but he licks a lot. He yawns and eye rolls and does what I call giraffe stretches ( arching his neck up and back and groaning). These last two movements are full body releases.
