The First Online Lymphatic Drainage Class date is set!

Wednesday March 11 at 4:30pm 🎉.

Benefits of lymphatic drainage:

1. Activated fluid circulation. Helps to “reroute” stagnant fluid in skin, mucosa, muscles, joints etc.

2. Drains toxins, macromolecules (proteins: helping reabsorption of edema) and fat. Helps with recovery.

3. Stimulate the Immune System. Utilized for preventative action. Techniques have been found to help with chronic and subacute inflammatory processes: chronic fatigue, autoimmune disease, arthritis, bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, acne, eczema etc.

4. Stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system reducing the “fight or flight” response. This can be very therapeutic in dealing with stress, depression and sleeping disorders.

5. To reduce pain.

6. To reduce muscle spasms (smooth and skeletal muscles), constipation etc.

The price will be increasing for future sessions 📣

I am incorporating 1 piece of dark chocolate daily into my diet:

Dark chocolate (70%+ cocoa) is a nutrient-dense superfood packed with antioxidants (flavonoids, polyphenols) that improve heart health, lower blood pressure, and enhance brain function.

Consuming 1–2 ounces daily can boost mood, reduce inflammation, and provide essential minerals like iron, magnesium, and copper.

Key Health Benefits of Dark Chocolate:

Heart Health & Blood Pressure: Flavonoids promote nitric oxide production, which relaxes blood vessels, improves blood flow, and lowers blood pressure.

High Antioxidant Content: It contains more antioxidants than many "superfoods" combating free radicals that cause cellular damage and aging.

Brain Function & Mood: Improves cognitive function, increases blood flow to the brain, and boosts serotonin/endorphin levels, which reduces stress.

Nutrient-Rich: Provides essential minerals including iron, magnesium, copper, and manganese.

Improved Cholesterol: May help increase HDL (good cholesterol) and reduce LDL (bad cholesterol).

Blood Sugar Management: Contains less sugar than milk chocolate and may increase insulin sensitivity.

Tips for Maximum Benefit:
Choose 70% or higher: Higher cocoa percentages mean more flavanols and less sugar.

Moderate Consumption: Due to high calorie and fat content, 1–2 ounces (about 30-60 grams) per day is recommended.

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient (aka we need to get it from our diet). 🍓
It’s found only in fruits and veggies and is most abundant in fresh, uncooked foods.

Three important functions of Vitamin C:
1) formation and maintenance of collagen, the basics of connective tissue.
2) help wounds heal.
3) maintain healthy blood vessels.

…Clearly Natasha (Certified in Holistic Nutrition) is diving back into her nutrition books again 📚🤓
