April showers bring May flowers, or so the saying goes... since we are not there yet- it's a crafting day in my craft room. Except instead of crafting, I'm going to be busy planning for my next craft show in May.

I'm finally starting to feel like a healthier version of me! Healing and Crafting.

Dec 9, 2025, devastating words.... ' 97% chance it's 'C', we will remove the mass on Dec 22.' That's all I heard. The rest was bla bla bla. Thank God Dave W. Johnson was there to get all the information. I walked out numb.

6 weeks post surgery, amazing words.... "you are one of the lucky ones, we got it all, no chemo or radiation". Again the rest was bla bla bla. Again, thank God Dave was there so he could help me with the next steps! Thank you Dave, for all of your love and support!!

Life sure has a way of shaking us up! My focus is still on healing and job hunting since I also lost my job of 10 years due to company restructuring right after my surgery. That is a lot to process!

So, now I'm working more on non toxic solutions to reduce the chances of 'C' from ever coming back! And crafting while I job hunt.

As you know, I make our foaming hand soap, body butter and lip balm. Eliminating as many toxic ingredients as possible. I have plans for DIY shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap, fabric dryer sheets (for starters) and working on getting rid of instant store bought mixes with ingredients I can't pronounce. So far I've swapped out cream of (anything) canned soup, pork and chicken coating mixes and gravy mixes.

Slow and steady, I know I can't get rid of all the toxins, yet I can actively reduce them.
