People often say that the most important part of being a parent is making sure your kid feels loved. My mom and I had our definite ups and downs and didn’t always live in harmony with one another, but I do know that not a day went by in our 20 years together where I didn’t feel completely and unconditionally loved by her. I’ve had a year and a half to really reflect on everything and I’ve come to realize that the love she showed me was so big and so powerful that I’ll spend the rest of my life remembering it, cherishing it and appreciating it with the deepest parts of my heart. A type of love that even without her here, I still feel so deeply. Thank you for loving me so much. I miss you more and more each day. Happy Birthday Mom, I love you!❣️🌞
