Stillwater Nature Spa offers a small, considered menu of therapeutic massage experiences, each one designed to work in harmony with the old-growth forest surrounding our canvas tent on Tofino's inlet. We are ready to welcome you 🕊️

We tend to think of massage as something we book for sore shoulders.

But in many traditions, touch was also used to help the body integrate change- to mark endings, beginnings, and transitions.

This understanding has shaped how I see my work.

As our 7th season nears its end, we’re feeling grateful for all who’ve journeyed into the forest to rest, reconnect, and be held by nature.

I’m not sure if it’s the stars, the galaxies, the news cycle… or just that quiet sense that there must be something more meaningful.

A good friend told me: surrender.
Exhale. Let go.

Autumn is nature’s reminder of release: trees shedding their leaves, teaching us that transition can be beautiful. ○
The forest doesn’t resist change; it surrenders to it.

Maybe we’re invited to do the same to loosen our grip on what has run its course, to soften into the unknown, and to trust that something beautiful is waiting on the other side.

Where nightfall becomes a ritual.
As the days grow shorter, the spa tent takes on an even softer, more peaceful energy— there’s something about the quality of evening that lets you sink in even deeper.

A limited batch of our Ceramic Stillwater Candles are back in stock.

Handspun by a local ceramic and poured with eco coconut & soy wax. Each piece carries a custom essential oil scent -- a grounding blend of earth and woods.
