Hi, I’m Claudia 👋🏻

I started working in a spa at 16 and somehow never left- and now at 30, I’ve spent nearly half my life learning the ins and outs of skincare. From makeup artistry to hands-on treatments, my passion has always been to creating a space that feels like a deep exhale-where you can relax, feel understood and leave feeling informed, confident and supported in your skin.

What the heck is a disco nap you ask? It is our fun way of describing LED Light Therapy. A painless & effective treatment that uses low level light therapy that provides an energy boost to your cells- think of it like photosynthesis for mammals 🌱

While your skincare products and/or treatments are going to have the biggest effect on your skin (especially sunscreen!). There are a few other ways you can take care of your skin…

🫧Wash your pillow cases regularly - any dirt, bacteria, etc. on your pillow case is going to transfer to your skin while you're sleeping. Wash/change your pillow case at least weekly.

⛅️Limit sun exposure - sunscreen is only one part of the equation, avoiding midday sun, seeking shade where possible, and wearing hats, sunglasses, and protective clothing can help limit your overall exposure to the sun.

🫐Eat plenty of fruits and veg - we all know that antioxidants are important for protecting our skin and making sure you're getting your 5-a-day can help keep your whole body healthy.

🛁Shower/bathe/cleanse with lukewarm water instead of hot water - I know we all love a good hot shower, but the hot water can strip away your skins lipids and increase your skin's surface pH (leading to dryness and irritation).

🧼Wash your make-up brushes - like pillow cases, your make-up brushes can harbor bacteria and debris that can clog pores. Try to wash them at least every 2-4 weeks, especially your face brushes.

🦠Disinfect your phone - did you know that your phone may carry 10x more bacteria than most toilet seats? That's all transferring to your face every time you make or take a call.

💪🏻Work out regularly - not only is exercise great for overall health but it can get extra blood pumping to your skin. More blood means that oxygen is transported to your skin faster and environmental pollutants (like free radicals) can be absorbed and excreted by your body quicker.

💊Take probiotics - research suggests that probiotics can improve inflammatory skin conditions, including acne and rosacea. There's plenty of other research on the 'gut-skin axis' demonstrating that GI health is linked to normal/healthy functioning of skin.

🚫Don't pick at your skin/spots - picking and squeezing increases inflammation which can affect the wound healing process and lead to scarring (try a pimple patch instead)

By incorporating some of these into your routine, your skin will thrive even more!

The true star of these results HER! Being so patient and consistent with her home care paid off massively to get her ready for her big day and I could not be happier :’)
