Do you guys like these little collages? I’ve found it’s a way for me to get creative and whimsical, and tell a but of a visual story with my outfits.
This dress is my first successful .sweater trade, and wow…it is beautiful. The textile is called “Balmoral Check with Red Stripe” from , and it is honestly the most luxe linen I’ve ever felt. It’s like a tweed! The cut is inspired by the 1930s, and I immediately got young Queen Elizabeth vibes. So of course, my beloved had to come into play. It’s a great WWII-inspired “Victory Red” lip.

I definitely have a preferred colour palette.
I’ve been sick for about a month now with no sign of things getting better, so I decided to use style as a “fake it till you make it” tool. I’ve found if I put in about 15% more effort, I’m generally much happier with my look. Less, and it can look boring or sloppy. More, and it overwhelms me.

Anna Rifle Bond’s art is endlessly inspiring for me, and it inspired my outfit today. I have the swan print pictured here (swipe), and it’s my favourite. I echoed it with this vintage belt that was my mom’s, and her mom’s I believe! This sunny cardigan is thrifted from .ca and it makes me smile. It’s my first time wearing it, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover the little embroidered logo is my favourite blue, so I can pair it with many more things than I expected!

One of my favourite jobs was being a high school English teacher at a tiny expat school in Egypt, and I still feel so happy in outfits 💛🩵🖤

Hello from bed, here’s a pic of my wfh outfit right before Covid decided I wasn’t going to be working today. I’m still wearing it, but now it’s my invalid outfit. 😂 Grateful for the temp regulating of linen bc the hot and cold flashes are not playing.
