The smartest person in the room doesn’t always win the market
The calmest one does
Everyone wants the “hack” for a $1M+ portfolio. Mine is simple: I don’t budget, I prioritize.
When you know your priorities, you don’t need a spreadsheet to tell you what to do. You just do it because your budget is YOU.
1️⃣ The Tax System & Housing: They get paid first. Avoiding the 7 - 8% interest rates on late taxes is the easiest leak you’ll ever plug
2️⃣ The Freedom Portfolio: Max out the tax-free accounts, then the non-registered. (Capital Gains are a tax gift: in Canada and US, investors keep more than employees)
3️⃣ The Curiosity Fund: I “over-invest” in my education. Books, mentors, courses, and new skills. This doesn’t just feed my business; it feeds my spirit
4️⃣ The Rest: Once the future and the mind are secured, the rest is for the joy of living
Wealth isn’t about what you keep in a cage; it’s about what you fund with your freedom.

Here’s what I wish I knew before I started my journey to building wealth:
Wealth isn’t just about the money in your account. It’s about the relationship you have with yourself and the way you view money.
I spent so much time chasing numbers, thinking that financial freedom was a destination. But the truth is, it’s not a number—it’s a mindset. It’s learning to trust yourself, make choices rooted in your values, and let go of the guilt or fear tied to money.
True wealth is about feeling secure, aligned, and at peace with how you earn, spend, and save. The numbers will follow when you build that foundation.
