Grief is a deeply personal experience, and it does not look the same for everyone.
Some days may feel manageable. Other days may bring sadness, anger, confusion, loneliness or even moments of relief. These different emotions can all be part of grieving.
You don’t have to rush yourself through the process or compare your grief with someone else’s. Give yourself time to rest, talk to people you trust, take care of your body and allow yourself to feel what comes up.
And if grief begins to feel too difficult to carry alone, reaching out for professional support is okay. You don’t have to go through it by yourself.
Need someone to talk to? RewPaz connects you with licensed therapists who can provide support through grief and other emotional challenges.
If you need additional support, resources are also available at:
• Toronto Rehab – Patient & Family Resource Centre
• Toronto Western Hospital – Patient & Family Library
• Toronto General Hospital – Patient & Family Learning Centre

Caregiver burnout isn't a sign of weakness - it's often the result of carrying too much for too long without enough support.
Watch for signs such as:
• Constant irritability
• Feeling trapped or hopeless
• Emotional exhaustion
• Persistent fatigue, even after rest
One of the most important things to remember: feeling frustrated, resentful, or angry doesn't make you a bad caregiver. These emotions can be a sign that your own needs have been pushed aside for too long.
Support is available:
• 211 Canada: Call or text 2-11. Connects you to local community, social, and caregiver support services anywhere in Canada.
• Su***de and Crisis Hotline: Connects you to free, confidential 24/7 mental health and crisis support.
• The Ontario Caregiver Helpline: Call 1-833-416-2273. 24/7 support dedicated specifically to caregivers.
• Family Caregivers of BC Help Line: Call 1-877-520-3267. Specialized caregiving support available Monday to Friday.
You don't have to carry everything on your own. 💙
What people say on the outside doesn’t always reflect what they’re experiencing internally.
Many individuals continue to manage stress, anxiety, or emotional pressure quietly.
Checking in even with a simple message, can create space for honest conversations.
Awareness starts with paying attention.
Consistency matters more than intensity.
If you need additional support, resources are also available at:
• Toronto Rehab – Patient & Family Resource Centre
• Toronto Western Hospital – Patient & Family Library

Many people think therapy is only for major life challenges. In reality, therapy can help with everyday struggles too, from managing stress and anxiety to navigating relationships, burnout, and life transitions.
Seeking support isn't about waiting until things get worse. It's about giving yourself the tools to cope, grow, and thrive.

Handling everything on your own might feel like responsibility, but over time, it can lead to emotional and mental exhaustion.
Having support can help you:
• Process difficult thoughts
• Reduce stress levels
• Make clearer decisions
Whether it’s through conversations, professional support, or small check-ins, support plays a key role in maintaining mental wellbeing.
Taking that step can make a real difference.
If you need additional support, resources are also available at:

Being a caregiver is one of the most selfless roles a person can take on. But while you're focused on supporting someone else, it's easy to overlook your own mental and emotional wellbeing.
As Karina shares, caregiving is an act of love - but it can also be exhausting. Your needs matter too.
Taking care of yourself isn't selfish; it's necessary.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, support is available:
• 211 Canada: Call or text 2-11. Connects you to local community, social, and caregiver support services anywhere in Canada.
• Su***de and Crisis Hotline: Connects you to free, confidential 24/7 mental health and crisis support.
• The Ontario Caregiver Helpline: Call 1-833-416-2273. 24/7 support dedicated specifically to caregivers.
• Family Caregivers of BC Help Line: Call 1-877-520-3267. Specialized caregiving support available Monday to Friday.
Remember: You are a human being first, and a caregiver second. 💙
Cultural expectations often teach men to suppress emotions rather than process them.
This can lead to:
• Increased stress
• Emotional disconnect
• Difficulty asking for help
Recognizing emotions and addressing them early can prevent long-term mental health challenges.
It’s not about changing who you are, it’s about taking better care of yourself.
If you need additional support, resources are also available at:
• Toronto Rehab – Patient & Family Resource Centre
• Toronto Western Hospital – Patient & Family Library
• Toronto General Hospital – Patient & Family Learning Centre
• Princess Margaret Cancer Centre – Patient Education Centre
Mental wellbeing isn’t built in one big step, it’s shaped through small, consistent actions.
Simple habits like taking breaks, getting fresh air, and staying connected can help regulate stress and improve focus.
Consistency matters more than intensity.

A therapist who works well for someone else may not be the right fit for you, and that's completely normal.
When choosing an online psychologist, look beyond reviews and credentials alone. Consider their expertise, communication style, and whether you feel understood during the process.
A good therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of successful outcomes.
Read our blog https://www.rewpaz.ca/blogs/how-to-find-the-best-online-psychologists-without-wasting-time-or-money to learn how to find the right online psychologist and make informed decisions about your mental health care. 💙
