Nostalgic for old days when we just shared the photo with bad filters and keeping it honest. Not the polished, high achieving feeds I've all gotten used to seeing. So I think im just going to share what I want, how I want, when I want, Instagram algorithm will have to live with that now š let's just use this space for personal diary.
Maybe life isn't supposed to become completely calm before we're allowed to enjoy it.
The kids still need things. The house still needs cleaning. Work, money, plans, responsibilitiesā¦ all of it is still there.
But I'm learning that a good life isn't necessarily a life without chaos.
Sometimes it's just finding little moments that make you feel like yourself again; coffee in the car, a good meal, a drive with nowhere urgent to be, or simply enjoying something without feeling guilty about it.
For the women figuring out motherhood, work, family, finances and everything in between: maybe we don't need to have it all figured out to enjoy where we are.
Save this for the next time you feel like you're waiting for life to finally slow down.
Apparently, buying a family car means checking more than safety, space, reliability and fuel economy. š
