This has been circulated quite a bit today and I am going to add to that number. What has happened to our society? What has happened to the fundamental concept of "it takes a village"? To those of you who chose to waste valuable resources to complain about the "noisy" "inconvenient" amber alert, I will venture to say that you are the very same ones who will call 911 because your neighbour's garbage can is out too early; to be affronted that you were given a parking or speeding ticket even though YOU WERE BREAKING THE LAW!!! Are you really going to prioritize your "inconvenience" over the precious lives of innocents who are at the mercy of twisted, pathological people? I bet you are the very same people who criticize the parents of these innocent victims, blaming them for the degradation of our children.... the very same ones who sit in judgement day in and day out... you need to take a good hard look at yourselves and realize that your reflections are the very reason our society has become so bankrupt of compassion and empathy. Shame on you... and take a moment in your oh so important lives to pray for that poor little girl who lost her life while you were being inconvenienced...pray for that poor mother who will never experience Feb 14 in the same way... and offer a prayer of thanks that you were able to wake up today to experience yet another day enveloped in your selfish cloud of entitlement.... **kup
