I’d really appreciate it if you took a moment to read this message thoroughly. It’ll give you some perspective on why our restocks have been slow, and what’s been happening behind the scenes over the last couple of years.

It feels great to finally breathe again, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t question whether moving to my own manufacturing facility was really worth it.

Especially because of how much this decision led to inconsistent restocks, disappointing some of you, and so much more.

The process was tumultuous, and there were so many moments when I felt powerless.

Not because I didn’t know what I wanted, but because finally choosing to build it properly slowed everything down.

Does proof really matter?

Does control really matter?

These are questions I entertained for a while, because the colored hair extensions industry is largely built on compromise. When you have no control over how your products are produced, you’ll always have to bend to the industry standard.

But I kept coming back to the same place: If I don’t control how my products are made, I can’t fully stand behind them.

I’ve been dreaming about providing premium quality colored hair extensions for the past 6 years. I want to produce an exceptional product, innovate new ones, apply customer feedback without having to answer to someone else, and be able to pay my artisans and hair donors generously.

None of these will be possible without owning the process. So for me, ownership wasn’t a choice — it’s the only way to do this right.

As our manufacturing standards evolved, our pricing evolved with them. I know that this will look different for some of you, and I don’t take that lightly at all. For those of you who appreciate quality and integrity, hopefully you’ll understand why I had to make this shift.

Our restock will still be bi-monthly because we’re just not yet ready for mass production.

But I want you to know that everything I’m building right now is intentional.

Fueled by a genuine desire to do things honestly, not quickly.
