APPLE 🍎 SPICE SMOOTHIE RECIPE

I’m really embracing the upcoming Fall season. Bring on the apples, pumpkins, squashes and produce that’s harvested this season. There’s nothing healthier than eating produce that is picked in season and is ripe. Nutritionist tip: Buying seasonal produce that has been recently picked = reaping in more nutritional benefits. Plus, eating seasonal provides the best nutrients we need at that specific time of year. 🍎
With only a handful of ingredients, you can make this smoothie recipe in no time.
Here is what you need:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 apples, sliced and peeled
1 cup of almond milk
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 banana, frozen, peeled and sliced
dash of nutmeg
1 cup of ice
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Garnish with some cinnamon and granola.
Enjoy!!! 🍎

RECIPE ALERT!

As someone who grew up in an Italian household pasta was a staple. Now that I no longer eat gluten and traditional Italian pasta noodles, I've found a great substitute and healthy alternative to pasta - Easy Peasy Raw Vegan Pasta. It taste delicious, packed with nutrients and much easier to digest than traditional pasta.
