Canada’s oldest city has a river that flows backwards.
Saint John, 1785 — Canada’s first incorporated city. Twice a day the Bay of Fundy tide overpowers the river and reverses the rapids. It’s the only place in the country you can watch a river change direction.
The City Market is the oldest continuously running farmers market in Canada. The 1876 roof was built by shipbuilders — it’s shaped like an upside-down hull.

Seven hundred thousand sunflowers in Caledon, and somewhere in the middle of them, a shape you can’t see from the ground. I’ve walked through here before. Walked right past it.

Took a drone going up 100 metres to find out what I’d been standing next to.

That’s most places, really. You need distance before you see the design.
