Some stunning professional images of Jessica’s winter wonderland wedding!

This particular wedding was a long time coming, she had to reschedule five times over the past two years, so it was bittersweet to finally meet her and bring her wedding vision to life.

She wanted to showcase her backless dress so I love that we chose to drape her hair over one shoulder with a delicate hair accessory so it was a spin on the open hollywood wave style she had been envisioning for her big day.

This is definitely MY favourite style of bridal glam. Glowy and bronzed, bold yet bright eye makeup and a soft n**ey pink lip!

For those that have been following me for awhile you might remember Megha, and for those seeing her for the first time - this is one of my past brides, my favourite set of hazel eyes to work with and has probably referred me to two dozen of her friends so I’ve seen her many times but haven’t done her makeup since her wedding a few years ago!

I can’t help but take photos on both because I’m so used to using my phone, but I liked her hair forward and I realized later that her eyes are out of focus. I’m still getting used to it, I’ll get there eventually!

Happy 60th Birthday to my Mom!! Tina Oswald

You may have noticed the most supportive commentator on my Instagram is , she is the most warm-hearted, thoughtful, talented, loving, generous, helpful, kind, attentive, encouraging, and organized person in my life.

It was incredible to be raised by this woman. She was always confident and self-sufficient and had massive strength to overcome so many obstacles in her life. She was so dedicated to her three children and even through a divorce and multiple relocations, we always had the stability in our mother to feel secure and connected within the walls of our home.

My mom has been so involved in my daughter’s life since the day she was born, she is her second mom and Vienna is so lucky to have such amazing grandparents that love her. I couldn’t imagine life without them, it’s been a miracle to have them be able to give up so much of their time to be there for us (Boyan and I are both self-employed so our irregular schedules are hard sometimes…) so thank god for Nunny and Granddad!

Tina is pure joy and ever since her heart attack (exactly 2 years ago last week), I think she has finally learned to give herself a little more attention and realize it’s important to be your own priority instead of just worrying about everyone else! I’m so proud of my mom’s accomplishments, both professionally and personally, she has always excelled in anything she sets her mind to and has set an incredible example of perseverance and brilliance that I can only hope to mirror one day. I’m so proud to call this beautiful woman my mom.

Should I quit my day job and get into wedding photography?? This was actually the only photo I got on my new camera (I’m finding it tricky to find the opportunity to whip it out and not intrude on the professional photos taking place), but I love it!

Sahinaz came all the way from San Francisco and her wedding in April is going to be epic I can tell you that much!

How do you feel about this concoction of warm and cool tones on the eyes?? It was a inspired look and its going to be a little different on her wedding day 😉

I have always wanted a professional camera and my husband gave me an early Christmas present 😭🥰

I’m still getting acquainted with it but I am so excited to learn more about photography and capturing the details of my makeup work. I hope it will spark my creativity and allow me to make higher quality videos and get my butt onto YouTube!

Not only would this be helpful to ensuring your makeup doesn’t have any obvious flash-back or areas requiring more blending but I love that you can see the true skin finish and small details like eyelashes and brow strokes and I think having this as a tool can only elevate one’s makeup game so I highly recommend making the investment for anyone considering it!
