I've been living with fibromyalgia for most of my life. I chose to start this page for a few reasons:
~ to share what I've learned about living with FMS
~ to share what I've learned (as a patient and an ND) about treating FMS
~ to provide access to information that supports a hopeful, forward-looking attitude for people with FMS or one of the other conditions in this spectrum, such as CFS, and ME

Day 30 of

I remember sitting in Sunday school thinking what I was hearing was nonsense. I became agnostic, until experiences I had as a nurse convinced me that a spiritual dimension was real. I am thankful for those experiences and the daily presence of God in my life.

I learned to meditate when I was a nursing student. I haven’t always been consistent about it, but I’ve always found it helpful. In these current times of global distress, meditation has become a big source of comfort, for which I will always be grateful.
