She was a blonde to begin with (previously highlighted)
She wanted to go to a deep red root colour with blonde balayage… well that didn’t last long when she realized the upkeep was going to be so intense, the contrast of her greys against her red root was very noticeable.
So we started the process of going lighter, this picture is the second session we just did and have finally gotten majority of the dark/red out but im still fighting a few warm blonde strands.
This is truly a long process to be patient with and willing to work towards to get the results you want.
Red to blonde is NOT a joke, it’s hard on your hair and it takes time, this lovely lady was fine with a healthy cut to get rid of some gummy ends.
Moving forward will be regular foil appointments every 3 months and I will continue to work at highlighting out the warm blonde tones for the perfect final result in later sessions. 😊

Majority of my clients are blonde but I will still give love to my mid length brunettes because they are just as stunning and beautiful 🖤
