And THIS is exactly why hair length matters.
For the smoothest, cleanest wax ...

✔️your hair should be about ¼ inch long (roughly the size of a grain of rice).

Too short?
The wax can’t grip.. patchy results, missed hairs, frustration. Tweezing. More pain.

Too long?
yes it hurts more. More discomfort + less efficient removal (we’ll usually trim if needed). This client went a little bit longer than they normally do.
.. Sweet spot = grown out, but not wild.
If you’ve been shaving, aim for 2–3 weeks of growth before your leg wax.

✔️ Exfoliate 24–48 hours before
Removes dead skin + helps prevent ingrowns.. a better wax

✔️ Skip lotions/oils the day of
Clean, dry skin = better wax grip

✔️ Avoid sunburn or irritated skin
Waxing over compromised skin = no go.

✔️Wear loose clothing after
Tight leggings right after = irritation waiting to happen.. or tight underwear after a brazillian

✔️Sensitive? Take a pain reliever 30 mins before
Totally optional, but helps take the edge off.

✔️Put. the. razor. down.
Shaving in between = uneven growth + harder wax results

✔️ Try to avoid right before/during your period .. your skin is more sensitive = more discomfort
