Looking for some Christmas spirit early and want too support a good cause? has a spectacular holiday display. And all funds go to a great cause. Mikaela loves the outdoors, reading and travelling. A few days before Christmas in 2020, she discovered a lump on her neck. Several weeks later then 16-year-old Mikaela was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma.

Mikaela wished for a trip to Disney World and Give Kids the World Village in Florida; a magical place just for kids and teens with serious illnesses. There, each child and teen is treated like royalty and Christmas is celebrated once a week because tomorrow isn't promised. And so, this year at Hotel BLU Christmas has come early and we need your help to spread the holiday cheer.

As a result of multiple factors, we are moving the event to Saturday, September 24th at the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Theatre in downtown Vancouver (630 Hamilton Street). Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.​​​​​​​​

This change will provide guests with a stunning theatre environment for the speaker presentations, and a beautiful grand foyer for the cocktail reception. Plus, it will be more accessible to many people.​​​​​​​​
