🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀
I was 36 years old when I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. As a mother of two, and having a daughter of my own, the diagnosis changed everything for me, but it also reminded me how powerful early detection and self-advocacy truly are. 💗
After 16 rounds of chemotherapy and a double mastectomy with reconstruction, I promised myself I’d use my story to bring awareness, hope, and empowerment to other women walking this path. There is life after cancer…and you can feel beautiful, strong, and whole again. ✨
This month, I’m proud to once again partner with Lilunderwear in support of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.
For every pink set sold, $3.00 will be donated to help fund research, education, and support for those affected by breast cancer. 💕 Every purchase makes a difference, so wear pink with purpose. ✨ Plus, all posts with the hashtag will add an extra $5 to the foundation.
📸As a bo***ir photographer, my mission is to help women, especially survivors. To help women see themselves through a lens of confidence, beauty, and self-love. Because our bodies tell stories of survival, and that’s something worth celebrating. 💫

✨BIG NEWS✨
I’ve been selected to participate in the FabOver40 competition!!! 💋
A celebration of inspiring women who are redefining what fabulous really looks like after 40.
🎗️This competition proudly benefits providing hope and resources to women affected by breast cancer nationwide, which is something that hits close to home for me and what initially caught my attention about this competition.
I’m now competing for the chance to win $40,000 and be featured on the cover of New Beauty Magazine sharing my story as a survivor with the world! 😍
🥹Winning would not only be a dream come true, it would also allow me to expand my photography passion project “beautiful me” globally, helping breast cancer survivors feel seen, heard, empowered, beautiful, and whole again. 🙏🏻💫💖
Voting has begun, and I’ll be needing all the love and support from my amazing friends and family to vote everyday. You can vote for free daily, but if you choose purchase votes, it will go towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help breast cancer patients and survivors.🫶🏻💃🏻

October 1st…The start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.🎗️
For many survivors, this month brings a mix of emotions. Awareness is so important reminding women to know their bodies, to be in charge of their health, and to support one another. But it can also be really fu***ng hard. It can stir up heartbreak, sadness, and memories we don’t always want to revisit 💔
Every time you open your phone, you’re bombarded with pink ribbons, survivor stories, and fundraisers. And sometimes… it’s just too much.🫶🏻
To my fellow survivors, please remember: it’s okay to take a break. 💕 You don’t owe anyone your story, your participation, or your energy. ✨Protect your mental health first, always. If you’re in a place where cancer isn’t consuming your life right now, I celebrate that with you. If you’re not ready to revisit that vulnerable part of your journey, that’s okay too.
Breast cancer awareness is year-round, not just the month of October. It will always be with us. In our memories, in our scars, and in our hearts, long after the pink ribbons are packed away. No matter the month, it’s something survivors carry with them. But that’s why protecting your peace matters so much. Be gentle with yourself, honor where you’re at, and know that you are loved. 💗
✨ It was a profound honour to share my journey as the guest speaker at the Choc' La Cure Gala on November 2nd, to raise money for the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan.
This was the most vulnerable, raw speech I have ever given, and I am so grateful it resonated with so many. Opening up in this way was both challenging and healing, and I’m honoured that my story could make such an impact.🥰 It was a privilege, and I am so grateful for the opportunity.
To everyone who attended and generously donated that evening, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are making a huge difference in the lives of cancer fighters, providing vital resources and hope when they need it most. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated. 💫
Thank you to everyone involved and to those who attended. Sharing this experience with you all was more than just a moment, it was a celebration of resilience, love, and the shared strength of survivors everywhere. 🩷
My passion project I’ve been working on. So proud of you ladies. 🥰
