🏝️ BEACH VACATION - CURLY PRIORITIES!! ⬇️

📆 1. I would suggest getting braids *before* you go, prices will likely be higher when you arrive. However, if you’re not worried about the cost or eating up vacation time, definitely support the work of the locals!

🌊 2. Sea water makes hair so dry and difficult to detangle, not to mention all the sand to shovel out. Dealing with that stress twice a day, every day when you’re trying to have a relaxing time is NOT it. 😮‍💨
3. It looks tidy every day if you look after it at night! Buy a satin pillowcase to take with you on your travels, and/or a satin scarf if you’re committed enough! The style will last MUCH longer and be easier to take down when you get home.

🏊🏼‍♂️ 4. Goggles and hats are easier to use when the hair is safely tucked away in braids.

‼️5. Most importantly - PROTECT THE SCALP!!!! Do NOT skip this step or you’ll end up with a scaly, itchy disaster!
Your scalp burns just like the rest of the skin on your body, so make sure you use either a lightweight spray on sunscreen, oils with SPF (raspberry seed or carrot seed are best), or use a hat while out of the water.

6. Watch your stress wash away with the waves at your feet!

Ps. This is my advice as a mother, not a braider 🫡

✨ MERRY CHRISTMAS BRAID FAMILY ✨
I didn’t have the capacity to make my own post BEFORE the date, I was just ready to unplug and spend time creating, baking, and making memories with my ‘little’ man.

BUT, I hope you’ve all had a WONDERFUL Christmas season full of joy, love and giving! ITS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!!!! 🤩

Please enjoy some of the styles I got to do during December, this might be my last ‘creative’ post for a very long time because I hate Canva and it makes me want to smash my phone 😊

Love yas!

✨This cutie is far too fabulous to just have a regular pony, so we had to make sure it was as bold as she is!✨
