I haven’t been very active on my page for a while and for good reason. As many of you know I have been walking dogs since June. You can see all the pups in my album “Good Boys and Girls”!

At first I took this job as something to do until the world opened up and the need for more esthetician’s/medical esthetician’s grew.

Little did I know that this dog walking job would turn into my dream job! I have never felt happier or more fulfilled than I do with this. With all of the negativity that has come from this pandemic, a positive emerged. It has made me realize that not only do I not want to go back to a career that puts me in such close quarters with people, I can’t.

I can’t ever imagine laying my hands on another person, leaning over them with my face 6 inches from theirs, touching their feet (🤮) and other body parts. Even the thought of shaking a clients hand upon greeting makes me anxious. The introvert in me has gained strength and I must make her happy! I never have to be closer than 6 feet to the dog parents. I can walk around or step off the trail with encountering others when hiking with the dogs. I would sooner have a dog lick my whole face than have to touch another human.

I’ve lost 20lbs, I’m out in the fresh air and in the mountains daily. I sleep better than I ever have before. My diet is trash but that’s ok because I’m so active.

I need to be with dogs. When this old body can’t do this anymore my next step is training. I’d like to train dogs to help people with special needs. I can’t imagine my life without dogs in it.

Goodbye Esthetics, my worst day with dogs is better than the best day at a spa/clinic. At least I’ll always have the knowledge to keep my skin looking fantastic!

Very proud to announce that I am officially certified as a Medical Esthetician! I am so excited to start this new journey in my career!!

As an esthetician I’m used to washing my hands 10-15 times a day. But the fact my hands aren’t also covered in moisturizing products daily is wreaking havoc on my skin.
Wash your hands people, but don’t forget the moisturizer!

Guess who got her 4th raise in under 2 years!!!!! 😁🤘🏻🥳

Finally, after almost a year, I got named in a Google review! 🤘🏻 And I’m “fabulous!” 😁

Had my 6 month review today. All positive feedback! And AND! I was given another raise!! 5% raise in my commission! Up to 15% now. Needless to say, I’m rocking this job so hard!
My manager said that I was their top seller and one of his most successful hires!
That made me feel pretty awesome 😁🤘🏻🎉

When your sales goal for the day is $300 and you sell $811. You need to celebrate! And we got our marriage license today as well! 😁🎉🤘🏻

Well as if just loving my job, helping people, making great tips and commission wasn’t enough, I came to work today to find out they’re giving me a raise! I didn’t even ask for it!
My numbers have been great since I started and add my sheer awesomeness to it, they felt I deserve it!
Yay me!
