Microneedling making it through those budget cuts >>>
But in all seriousness, I know times are tough right now đĽ˛
Life is⌠expensive, to say the least.
But thatâs exactly why Iâll never take it for granted when someone chooses to invest in themselves and trust me with their skin.
For a lot of people, skincare isnât just about looking good. Itâs about feeling confident.
Itâs about finally addressing something thatâs bothered them for years.
Itâs about making time for themselves in a world that constantly asks them to put themselves last.
And when it comes to treatments like microneedling, youâre not just booking for the glow you see this week.
Youâre investing in long-term collagen production, skin quality, texture, and healthier skin over time.
So to every client who continues to prioritize their self-care, even when life feels expensive... thank you đ¤
If youâre ready to invest in your skin and build a treatment plan focused on long-term results, my DMs are always open.

Bikini vs. Brazilian!! đđź
These get mixed up sooo often and tbh I fully understand why.
In this particular case, I had explained during the consultation exactly which areas would be covered with a bikini laser treatment. But when it came time to move forward, we realized she had a different picture in her mind of what âbikiniâ meant (and thatâs okay!)
We cleared it up, she got her full brazilian, and we devised an ongoing treatment plan.
BUT this whole situation is exactly why Iâm making this video.
A lot of people use the terms âbikiniâ and âbrazilianâ interchangeably because theyâre kind of in the same area, but theyâre technically two different treatment areas.
âď¸ If your goal is to clean up the edges and anything that might show outside of a swimsuit, a bikini treatment may be exactly what youâre looking for.
⨠But if your goal is complete hair removal in the entire area, youâll likely be looking at a Brazilian instead.
Neither is better than the other. It simply comes down to your preference, comfort level, lifestyle, and goals.
The good news? This is exactly what consultations are for.
Before any laser treatment, weâll go over the treatment area, answer your questions, and make sure weâre choosing the option thatâs actually aligned with what youâre looking for.
Summer laser season is officially here, and if youâve been thinking about getting started, my DMs are always open đ¤

No pain, no gain⌠unfortunately, your pores seem to agree đ
Look, Iâm not saying extractions are everyoneâs favourite part of a facial.
But I am saying that sometimes a few minutes of discomfort can save you months of dealing with congestion that just keeps sitting there.
When pores become clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and debris, they donât always clear on their own.
Over time, that buildup can contribute to blackheads, congestion, inflammation, and future breakouts.
Soooo, thatâs where professional extractions come in.
When performed properly, extractions help remove whatâs trapped beneath the surface, clear congestion, and create a healthier environment for the skin to function the way it should.
And while you might be questioning my life choices during the process...
The smooth, clear, âmy skin can finally breathe againâ feeling afterward usually makes it all worth it đ¤
If youâre dealing with stubborn congestion, blackheads, or recurring breakouts, my DMs are always open.

âItâs just a head massage.â Mmm actually⌠itâs not.
These techniques are designed to do a lot more than just âfeel nice.â
The scalp, neck, and temples are filled with nerve endings and pressure points that directly influence the nervous system.
The right pressure and repetitive movements can help:
đŤ calm the vagus nerve
đ§ regulate the brainâs stress responseđ§ââď¸ shift the body out of fight-or-flight mode
⨠release built-up physical tension
đ¤ change how stress is being held in the body
Thatâs why people often leave feeling mentally quieter, emotionally lighter, and physically more relaxed afterward.
So when a client tells me theyâve been overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or stuck in constant overthinking⌠this is one of my favourite things to incorporate into a treatment.
Because sometimes the nervous system needs support just as much as the skin does.
And as always, my DMs are open if youâre ready for a treatment experience that supports both đŤśđź

SPF before literally anything else đ
In my defense⌠sunscreen is kind of a non-negotiable around here.
And yes, SPF season is EVERY season.
But with UV levels getting higher outside, this is your reminder to actually apply enough and reapply throughout the day âď¸
And spf 50 doesnât mean you can stay in the sun forever!
A lot of people think SPF 85 is âdoubleâ the protection of SPF 40 or 50, but hereâs whatâs actually going on:
⨠SPF 30 blocks about 97% of UVB rays
⨠SPF 50 blocks about 98%
⨠SPF 100 blocks about 99%
So the biggest difference usually isnât the number itself.
Itâs whether youâre applying ENOUGH and reapplying consistently.
So, my golden rules for reapplying:
⨠Reapply every 2 hours when exposed to daylight
⨠Reapply sooner if youâre sweating, outside, swimming, or wiping your face
⨠And no⌠putting it on once at 8am does not count for the entire day
Especially if youâre dealing wit hyperpigmentation, melasma, post-acne marks, premature aging or inflammation
Protecting your skin now = less correction later.
So please⌠lather up đ¤
Where my real ones at đđźââď¸
There are so many talented medical aestheticians in this industry who genuinely care⌠but thereâs also a growing culture of rushing treatments, pushing packages, and treating skincare like a sales quota instead of actual client care.
And obviously, clients can feel the difference.
They can tell when theyâre being listened to.
They can tell when a treatment is personalized.
And they can definitely tell when someone is more focused on selling than actually helping.
One of the biggest things Iâve learned since going solo is how important it is to have the freedom to slow down, think critically, build real relationships with clients, and make decisions based on what their skin actually needs.
Not whatâs quickest, the easiest to sell, or what fits into a standardized protocol.
Because REAL TALK, thatâs where real fulfillment comes from in this field. Seeing progress, building trust, and creating experiences that actually mean something to people.
And thatâs also what creates real client retention in the long run.
I know there are so many other aestheticians out there who want the same thing, so if youâre one of them⌠keep going.
Weâre shifting the standard together đ¤
Sorry to say, but I simply canât summon collagen and clear skin in one appointment đ
As much as I wish I could wave a wand and completely transform your skin overnight⌠real results usually take consistency, time, and a treatment plan thatâs actually tailored to your skin.
Yes, some treatments can give an immediate glow or visible improvement after one session.
But things like acne, pigmentation, texture, scarring, and long-term skin health donât change instantly.
Your skin needs time to respond, heal, rebuild, and adjust. Thatâs why consistency matters so much.
The real magic usually happens in the follow-ups, the routine, and the small improvements that build on each other over time.
And honestly? Those long-term results are always worth the patience đ¤
If youâre ready to take a more intentional approach to your skin and build a treatment plan that evolves with your results, my DMs are always open.

And hereâs why âŹď¸
Red light therapy works by penetrating the skin at a cellular level, helping to support collagen production, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin function over time.
But for it to actually work, your skin needs the right environment to respond.
If youâre wondering why you might not see results from a treatment that can actually transform your skin... one (or more) of these might be why:
â Your skin barrier is compromised
âĄď¸ Red light therapy supports healing, but if your barrier is already damaged, your skin is in a reactive state and it may struggle to tolerate additional stimulation.
â Youâre dealing with internal factors
âĄď¸ Hormonal imbalances, chronic stress, and poor sleep all increase inflammation in the body. If thatâs not being addressed, it can override what youâre doing topically.
â Your skincare routine is cancelling it out
âĄď¸ Overuse of strong actives (retinol, tretinoin, glycolic, lactic, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide) can keep your skin in a constant state of irritation. When your skin is overworked, itâs less receptive to treatments like red light.
â Youâre lacking a consistent schedule
âĄď¸ Like most treatments, results come from repetition. Sporadic use wonât give your skin enough consistency to actually trigger long-term changes.
â Youâre treating the wrong concern with the wrong light
âĄď¸ Different wavelengths target different concerns. Using the wrong type of light means youâre not addressing the root issue effectively.
And if youâre dealing with acne, congestion, or bacteria-driven breakouts, you may actually need blue light, which targets acne-causing bacteria!
So yes, red light therapy is powerful... but it works best when everything else is aligned.
Not sure if red light is right for your skin?
Thatâs exactly what a consultation is for. DM or text the number below and letâs build a plan that actually makes sense for where your skin is right now.

And the lie goes to...
4ď¸âŁ: microneedling does NOT permanently reduce pore size.
It can absolutely improve the appearance of pores by stimulating collagen and strengthening the surrounding skin, but pores donât just disappear or âclose.â
Their size is largely determined by genetics, oil production, and overall skin structure.
So while microneedling can make pores look smoother and less noticeable over time, itâs not a permanent âshrinkâ or one-time fix.
Now for the rest â
1ď¸âŁ Hyaluronic acid needs moisture to work properly
If you apply it to dry skin without sealing it in, it can actually pull water out of the skin rather than draw it in.
2ď¸âŁ The skin barrier affects how well your products actually work
If your barrier is compromised, actives wonât perform the way they should... and can end up doing more harm than good.
3ď¸âŁ Overusing actives can delay healing
You might see short-term improvement, but over time it can lead to irritation, inflammation, and slower recovery.
5ď¸âŁ Skin that feels âtight and cleanâ after cleansing is often compromised
That stripped feeling isnât a sign of âcleanâ skin. Itâs a sign your barrier has been disrupted.
And my final takeaway is that a lot of skincare isnât about doing more⌠itâs about doing the right things, at the right time, for your skin.
Because if your skin feels stuck or like nothing is really working, thereâs usually a deeper reason behind it.
And as always, my DMs are open if you want help figuring out what your skin actually needs đŤśđź Based in Vaughan, offering advanced facials, laser, and more.
