Botox (and Dysport) are measured in units and the best results come from appropriate dosage and precision. This image shows an average range of units for different treatment areas, however, units can still vary depending on you and your aesthetic goals.

During consultation, we can discuss your goals and details of how many units you will need and where they will be placed!

Emollients and humectants are common types of ingredients found in moisturizing skincare products. Knowing whether your skin type prefers one over the other can elevate your skincare line up.

Emollients help restore the skin barrier, softening and smoothing skin texture. This is especially beneficial for dry or aging skin. Ex. lipids, oils, colloidal oatmeal, shea butter.

Humectants pull water into the skin and are typically good for oily or combination skin types. Ex. urea, glycerin, honey, aloe vera gel, ceramides, hyaluronic acid.

If you feel like you need an extra boost, come see us and we can recommend treatments to help rejuvenate your skin!

Do you know what the best time to moisturize is?

After you shower and before you go to bed, especially as our nights get colder and drier! Choose a gentle moisturizer and avoid ones with heavy fragrances.

Gua Sha, if used correctly, can promote lymphatic drainage, help blood circulation and reduce puffiness. They are a great addition to your skincare routine. But for more noticeable sculpting, fillers or Botox can provide long-term and natural looking results.

Come see us for a complimentary consultation to discuss your options!
