Help make massage therapy GST/HST exempt!

👇👇

The Canadian Massage Therapist Association (CMTA) is calling on the federal government to remove GST/HST from regulated massage therapy services.

Massage therapy is regulated health care in Canada, yet it continues to be subject to GST/HST while other regulated health services, including physiotherapy, chiropractic care and psychotherapy, are exempt. The CMTA is asking the federal government to address this difference by adding massage therapy to the list of exempt health services under the Excise Tax Act. The CMTA has made it easy to contact your Member of Parliament. Its online letter tool allows you to enter your postal code, review the pre-written letter, add your information, and send your message directly to your MP and the Minister of Finance.

Your voice can make the difference.

Check out the lnk below!

Make Massage Therapy Tax Free - Canadian Registered Massage Therapist Association Physiotherapy, chiropractic, and psychotherapy are all exempt from GST/HST. Massage therapy — the same regulated health care, often in the same clinic — is still taxed.

Happy first day of Fall! 🍂

We're now into my favourite season. I love all the fall colours and the coziness of a good book and fluffy sweater. ☕️
