Style a textured half up with me!

It was +34°c with 99% humidity, and at a greenhouse venue, the temperature was definitely a concern. I made a small ponytail at her nape which kept the hair off her neck. This not only kept my bride cooler, it also helped the longevity of her curls because they weren't sticking to her skin. And the best part about this hack? No one else knows! 😁

Ainsley sent me a screenshot of one of my own styles from my page as her half up inspo for her wedding hair, and that felt so special! She had a very specific style she wanted to try for the front, so follow along to see what we did!

There will be no updos falling out on my watch!

One of the things my cosmetology teacher used to ask after I finished an updo on a mannequin was "can she dance?" And she would then proceed to shake the living daylights out of the mannequin head and if any part of that updo fell out, I had to start again from scratch. Needless to say, I learned how to make an indestructible updo.
