Happy Hump Day Avon friends ❤️
They say beauty comes from a spirit that has weathered many
hardships in life and somehow continues with resilience.
Grace can be found in a soul who ages softly, even amid the tempest ♡
I think the loveliest by far is the one whose gentle heart bears ♡
a hundred scars from caring, yet still finds a way
to pick up the lamp, one more time, to light the way for love ..♡

Going out to my dear friend ML today ❤️☀️
Hang in there. Everything is going to be alright. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but eventually.
Remember all the previous tough times you’ve battled through and how you got out of them. NEVER GIVE UP; never lose hope. 🩷
Always have Faith, it allows you to cope 🩷
Trying times will pass as they always do. Keep your head up, believe in yourself, and explore what options exist to create an even better life.
One step at a time leads you to where you need to be...🩷

TGIF ❤️
Each and every one of us is unique like a fingerprint.
Our souls have their own personal design and no two people in the world are the same.
Always remember how special you are and that there is no person out there that is exactly like you.
Stand proud and believe in yourself because you are truly a gift and have so much to offer in this life time, you just have to believe it 🩷

100 💯 years ago!
Amazing women 🙏❤️
🗳️ In 1872 a woman ran for President of the United States, almost 50 years before women could even vote. 📰
Victoria Woodhull was already a sensation. In 1870 she and her sister opened the first woman run brokerage on Wall Street, backed by Cornelius Vanderbilt. In 1872 she ran for president on the Equal Rights Party ticket. That same year she published an explosive expose of a famous preacher's affair in her own newspaper, and was promptly jailed on obscenity charges, spending election day behind bars.
Should we remember Victoria Woodhull as a pioneer or a provocateur? Tell us below and follow Gilded America for the figures history tried to forget.

Happy “chooseday” borrowed from a friend ❤️
So, My Dear, When You Grow Older…
1. Don’t spend your time lecturing people. Even when you’re certain you’re right. Remember how much it annoyed you when older people did that to you—and how rarely you followed their advice anyway.
2. Don’t rush in to help unless someone asks. Avoid smothering the people you love. You can’t protect them from every hardship life brings. Love them, support them, and trust them to find their own way.
3. Don’t become someone who constantly complains. Not about your health, your neighbors, politics, rising prices, or the state of the world. Don’t turn into the person who sees only what’s wrong.
4. Don’t expect gratitude from your children. Love given with a scorecard attached eventually becomes disappointment. Raise them with love, then let your kindness be its own reward.
5. Avoid phrases like:
“When I was your age…”
“I gave you the best years of my life…”
“I know better because I’m older…”
Most people stop listening the moment those words begin.
6. If you have grandchildren, don’t worry about sounding younger or trendier. Being called “Grandma” is not something to escape—it’s a title earned through love.
7. Don’t spend your last savings chasing youth. Wrinkles are not the enemy. Use your money for experiences, adventures, and memories instead. A trip creates more joy than another anti-aging treatment ever will.
8. Don’t stare into the mirror searching for the person you used to be. Dress with confidence, carry yourself with grace, and aim for elegance rather than trying to look twenty-five again. There is beauty in every season of life.
9. Treasure your husband, even if age has softened him, slowed him down, or made him a little grumpy. Remember that he once stood beside you as a young man full of dreams. And perhaps he is one of the few people who still remembers you exactly the same way.
10. Don’t exhaust yourself trying to keep up with everything. You don’t have to master every app, follow every trend, or understand every new gadget. Stay curious if it brings you joy—but never because you’re afraid of being left behind.
11. Stop blaming yourself. No life is perfect. No parent gets everything right. Whatever path your life or your children’s lives have taken, remember this: you did the best you could with what you knew at the time.
12. Above all, keep your dignity. In every situation. Through every season. Hold your head high, stay kind, and stay true to yourself.
And remember this:
If you are still here, if you are still waking up each morning, then your story is not finished. Your presence still matters. Your love still matters. And somewhere, whether you realize it or not, someone is grateful that you are in this world.
