“Here’s what I decided not to do- and why.”
Every colour appointment is a series of decisions.
Not every blonde needs a root shadow.
Not every blonde should be icy.
Not every toner belongs on dry hair.
My goal is to never copy a photo.
My goal is to design a colour that compliments the client, protects the integrity of the their hair and grows out beautifully.

Fashion Week is more than the runway. It’s about being part of an incredible creative team.
One of the things I love most about BEAUTICK is that every show is an opportunity to learn, grow and work alongside talented artists from around the world.
Watching our team bring a designers vision to life reminds me why I feel in love with this industry.
With New York Fashion Week just around the corner this September, there are exciting opportunities for hairstylists who are passionate about education, teamwork, and pushing themselves creatively.

Is Fashion Week on your career bucket list?

Looking back over the last 25+ years behind the chair, there are a few lessons that have shaped not only the stylist I am today, but also the person.
Some came from winning awards.
Some came from mistakes.
Some came from working backstage at Fashion Week.
And many came from simply showing up in the Salon every day.
If you’re a stylist just starting out - or you’ve been in the Industry for years - I hope one of these lessons encourages you to keep growing.
Hair is always evolving.
So should we.
Which lesson resonates the most?
After years behind the chair I have found that summer hair problems are usually caused by the same three things:
1.No UV protection
2.Chlorine and mineral buildup
3.Waiting until the hair feels damaged before treating it.
Healthy summer hair isn’t about repairing damage - it’s about preventing it.
