looking through these photos made me realize how much has happened in just a few months.

when i relaunched la vela in March this year, i honestly had so much self-doubt and overthought everything. i kept wondering if people would still like my products, if anyone would stop by my booth, or if i was even making the right decision to start again.

but with every market, every conversation, and every person who took the time to stop by, smell a candle, or take something home, i slowly became more confident. i still have those moments of doubt, but they’re definitely a lot quieter now. 🤍

my goal this year was pretty simple: to do one market each month. i wanted to ease back into it instead of saying yes to everything right away, especially with two little ones who keep me busy every single day. 😅 i also planned to skip the winter markets and leave september open so we could just enjoy the last bit of summer together as a family.

as of today, we have two more markets planned—july 25 and august 8—and i’m really excited for what’s ahead.

next year, i’d love to be out there even more, meet more of you, and introduce new products (and maybe even a few new services 👀) that i’ve been dreaming about for a while now.
