Healthy hair is a journey, and every appointment tells us something different. 🤎
During today’s visit, I noticed some encouraging improvements in how my little client’s hair feels and responds to treatment. While we’re still addressing compromised ends and breakage from previous chemical services and styling practices, we’re making progress!
For this appointment, I chose to prioritize moisture, softness, and manageability with a deep conditioning treatment rather than protein.
We also discussed future styling options that would allow her to enjoy her hair without unnecessary tension, while keeping her preferences in mind. 💕
A trim is still part of the conversation, but we’ll revisit that when she’s ready.
My biggest takeaway? Healthy hair care isn’t about doing everything at once. It’s about understanding what the hair needs, making informed decisions, and allowing room for progress.

The kids can get pressed too. With a good at home care routine this style is able to last up to 2 weeks with this Texas weather.
If your child keeps a very active lifestyle I wouldn’t recommend this style until their off season.
