Tonight was calling for some Thai food🌶😋

It’s been a while since I cooked Thai .
It’s gonna be a while till can go back there and enjoy the amazing Street food.

I made a mix of seafood laab and stir fried vermicelli salad😋
An easy quick dinner packed with lots of protein and spices like
- [x] Garlic 🧄 to boost your ♥️health
- [x] Chili 🌶 to boost your immune system, it’s high in vitamin C , powerful antioxidant plus it improves your digestive health and...METABOLISM so I can only recommend you start adding it to your meals on regular bases 😉

I just love them all, I couldn’t possibly pick one 🤔

I also made a reel but there was a problem or I was a problem lol 😂 I was saying what I was doing step by step but at the end my voice wasn’t there.

Basil , thyme and mint ( you never know when there is a need for some mojitos🤪)

I love to garnish with fresh herbs 🌿
Might have been a silly idea to buy them in November but let’s hope for the best🙏

What are you having for dinner tonight my lovelies?🤔

Today I felt like some Indian, it feels like ages since I’ve been to India and had some proper Indian spicy food.
I actually planned on cooking red lentil dhal. I don’t even know how I ended up making garam masala chickpea curry🤔😃

Hold on I remember, I actually started cooking some chickpeas in a pressure cook because I run out of the chickpeas in cane and thought I could make some hummus. And since I thought it wasn’t worth to cook just a few chickpeas for humus , I thought I would cook more and use the rest for curry😃
And instead of rice I used a cauliflower rice 🍚.
I actually did the swap for very first time, wasn’t really keen on it but since they had cauliflower on 50% off I thought let’s give it a try👌And it actually tasted very nice to my surprise but I still prefer brown rice instead.
How about you ? Which rice do you prefer ?
And how about Indian cuisine ? Are here some Indian cuisine lovers ? If so let me know whats your favorite Indian meal.

Are we ®️EADY?

Some oil
1 Onion
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Tbsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Cumin, Coriander Powder,Turmeric, chili,
240g of cooked or drain chickpeas
200 g of the chopped caned tomatos
Some Coconut Milk
Sea Salt and Black Pepper
Some spinach
You can add a squeeze of lime juice as well

Cauliflower rice:

Clean the head, blend it a good processor and additionally you can put it in a towel to squeeze to remove any any moisture.
Then sauté in a skillet over medium heat in 1 tsp of oil or without if you have a good pan. Use a lid to cover so the cauliflower becomes more tender. Cook 5 mins , stirring occasionally, then season with some sea salt and black pepper( or with anything you like)

Simply sauté in a large skillet over medium heat in 1 Tbsp oil. Use a lid to cover so the cauliflower steams and becomes more tender. Cook for a total of 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, then season as desired (such as with soy sauce or salt and pepper).

OMG😱 what an amazing Sunday pizza feast🤤

You must be thinking 💭 🤔
Doesn’t this Romana have anything else to do but spending the whole day in the kitchen?!🥴
And believe me , I’ve just asked myself the same question 😂
But since cooking is my passion and eating my favorite thing in the world 🌎 there is not much left to say🤐

I just love to hang out in the kitchen most days, some days more and other less.

I’m definitely having a pizza fewer this week. I only had pizza like 3 days ago and couldn’t wait to make my own again.
This time I made the crust slightly different than I normally do , but the difference is minimal.
I wanted to try a pizza crust inspired by and it came out just well.
Maya wouldn’t be very happyif she saw my toppings 😱
She is vegan and it’s quite noticeable that I had rather non-vegan toppings 🤫

I used the cheesy beetroot spread for my base which I just shared with you and Simon used a classic tomato 🍅 one seasoned to perfection 😋

Which one would YOU pick?

Who loves beetroot? Hands up 🙌

If you don’t yet this is only a few of many reasons why you should try to befriend 😉

Beetroot is full of vitamins and minerals and also low in calories and fat which comes handy 😊

Beets are also a good source of fiber, about which we already know that is beneficial for our digestive health.
Fiber also keep us full for longer
And the list goes on and on....

I thought I would give this beauty some attention after it reminded me of itself by attacking me when I opened the fridge a while ago😅

My fridge is so full of food and sometimes I forget about the foods I bought in the past, especially about the food of which I know can last for a while as it has a long useby date.
Just to make it clear I never through away any food , it’s a crime in my eyes 👀 so I always cook depending on what needs to go first if I have lots to choose from.

And back to the beetroot😍
I bought a precooked one because I couldn’t be assed with the cleaning after.
I roasted it in an oven seasoned with some sea salt and freshly grounded black pepper.
In a blender or a pitch combine beetroot, 2 cloves of garlic, some feta ,cottage cheese and ricotta 1:1:1
But you could use either.
I’ve had a bit of all those 3 so I put it in action 😃
1 tbsp tahini
Some cumin, fresh thymian ,sea salt and pepper
And there you are , this beauty is all yours ♥️

Are you having a rest day today or could you squeeze some exercise/stretching in ?

As for me, I ❤️ Sundays, because I’m always looking forward to some decent stretching 🙆‍♀️
As usual I’ve ve been to a power yoga class🧘‍♀️ at my local gym .ch guided by my favorite yoga instructor to stretch my muscles 💪 and to improve my flexibility as that’s just as important as strength training.
I‘m using my time wisely while on a standby duty 👩‍✈️✈️

What is the rest of you up to ?

Post-workout treat👉 apple strudel on my plate😋made of wholegrain spelt flour, stuffed with diced 🍎, raisins, cranberries, nuts, seasoned with cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon zest and best of all Cointreau 😃
Served with
warm chocolate protein milk 🥛
200 milk ( plan based or diary) with one scoop of chocolate protein)
I used vegan protein from Millionaire’s flavor which is mix of chocolate and caramel flavor 😋

Anyone else with a sweet healthy tooth out there tonight?🦦

Just a quick selfie before my home workout
Today calls for My day, my way !😉
And it’s Saturday so it’s with my queenies👏

I want you to have a look on me now( left )and before(right)
I just want to point out that a small change or an adjustment you make repeating continuously/daily can have a big impact in a long run.
In my case I aimed for calorie surplus.
I’ve been on a maintenance for last few months and I knew that in order to make gains and build more muscles I either had to eat more or train less.
I’ve ended up combining both and it worked as planned :)

Although my abs keep disappearing , my bo***es got bigger again , which is a fair deal👍
Once I’ve gained some weight back, they grew back. Magic🙀
One can’t have it all I suppose , unless I go under knives which is highly unlikely 😜

Same goes for fat loss.
Just the other way around.
In order to come in a calorie deficit you need to eat less or move more .
It’s that simple, still many of us find it so hard due to all different myths out there😡
All they have in common is creating a calorie deficit, this is the only way to to loose fat so you can maintain your dream weight sustainably.

I ♥️these bars but this one was my very last one😱

I get them normally from in US but since it’s been a while since I flew there I run out of my stock

RXBar’s are very famous , all-natural protein bar.
Swipe 👉 to clearly see all the ingredients , surprisingly you can read and understand all of them which is rather unusual these days , reading the label and not founding at least a few ingredients you’ve never heard of or don’t understand what they mean🧐

They only have real ingredients, taste great and are a good pick to have on the go or on your standby duties lol👩‍✈️

They are pretty much the one of only few protein bars that I’ll eat.
I’m very picky and you should be too if you don’t want to end up consuming tons ( lots of ) grams of simple carbs instead😲
Always read the label 🏷
Get use to it, it will save you lots of time working on your fat loss after, trust me

All of the flavors are amazing, but my favorite one is definitely pumpkin 🎃 spice limited addition.
This vanilla one was great too but it’s just personal preference .

If i don’t fly to US soon I will make them @ home and it’s going to be hopefully cheaper as well
Knowing I just had the last one I already miss them so much😢😳

Pumpkin 🎃 soup anyone ?

There are so many ways how to make a good pumpkin soup

This is only one of many but it’s one of my favorites.

Are we ®️EADY?

Small pumpkin
Potatoes 1-2 ( you can use sweet potatoes or regular white ones)
If you using white ones you can add 2-3 carrots 🥕 to add to its sweetness
Chicken stock
Onion, garlic, curry powder, curcuma, some chili flakes, sea salt and freshly grounded black pepper
Some coconut milk at the end
Juice from a fresh orange 🍊 ( optional )
Dont’s

Don’t peel the skin off 🙏
It gives the soup much much nicer flavor than when peeled off.
It’s actually a crime 😬

This wonder food is nutrient dense, high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants – much of it concentrated on the outside of the vegetable
There is more to it than being just a pretty face 🎃
Pumpkin is rich in fiber, which slows digestion. Pumpkin keeps you feeling fuller longer

And if you did by an accident, you can try to make a few chips , either airfry them or bake in the oven under broiler for a few mins

Cut the pumpkin in big chunks and roast in the oven first for even more flavor of time allows
You can do the same using sweet potatoes.

Start by adding some oil to your pot , roast some 🧅, garlic 🧄 , followed by adding curcuma, curry powder and some of your chicken ( or vegetarian) stock

Chicken stock gives it more flavor though.
Add diced pumpkin ( roasted or raw), potatoes , carrots if using , roast for a bit , then add a few cups of remaining chicken stock , bring to a boil , let it simmer till soft , add fresh orange juice( if you have , no must ) , some coconut milk and salt and pepper to your liking .
You can either blend it with a hand blender or in food pitcher.
Some chili flakes will give it a nice kick if you like it a bit spicy 🥵 😊
