Sexually transmitted infections in a high level of concern in reproductive health with some being;
-Syphilis
-Gonorrhea
-AIDs
-Hepatitis
-Ge***al warts
In as much as they are sexual transmitted, they could also be transmitted through;
-Blood transmission
-Mother to child during child birth
-Occupational exposure, mostly health personnels.
Skin to skin contact and exchange of sharp objects with an infected person.All these could be prevented by creating awareness and ensuring optimum preventions.
Family planning, method used to prevent pregnancy. It is divided into 2 main categories;
Natural method and Modern method
The natural method being
* Calendar method ( tracking menstrual cycle to predict fertility)
*Coitus interuptus ( withdrawal of sexual in*******se before ej*******on )
*Abstinence ( Avoiding sexual in*******se generally)
The second Category being the modern method which is divided into Hormonal and Non hormonal
The hormonal method is subdivided into; -Injectable and Non injectable (Oral contraceptives)
The Non hormonal is also subdivided into
-Barrier method (use of condoms)
-Surgical procedures ( e.g Hysterectomy)

Abstinence is the most effective method as it prevents both pregnancy and STI's as compared to the other methods which mostly prevents pregnancy.
With regards to menstrual health, health related apps like Flow, can be used as an aid for menstrual health.
