Dear valued clients,
It is with a heavy heart that I sincerely apologize to everyone whose appointments were canceled yesterday without prior notice. I understand that many of you had made time to visit the shop, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Yesterday, I received another major heartbreaking news that one of my most cherished clients, greatest supporters, and dear friend, Mr. Clinton, passed away. ( I called him Mr. Clint )

This is not just the loss of a patron and ambassador. It is the loss of a man who stood behind me, believed in me, and genuinely wanted to see me succeed.

During one of the most difficult seasons of my business, Mr. Clinton single-handedly supported me with 300,000 FCFA. He didn’t do it because I asked him to. He did it because he believed in my future.

He was unlike any client I have ever known.

From January to December, every single time he came into my shop, he would pay me three or even four times my regular charge. Yet he always requested the simplest haircut ( He was the truest explanation of; YOUR HELPER WILL NOT STRESS YOU). He never wanted me to go through the stress of washing his hair. He never wanted my staff to spend extra time cleaning him up or giving him additional services. He wanted the bare minimum, but insisted on paying far more than I deserved in his eyes.

He never stressed me. He never made demands. He simply wanted to see a struggling me happy and watch my business grow.

Even while he was fighting for his life, he continued to encourage me. In what would become our final conversations, despite his own condition, he kept reassuring me that once he recovered, I would have nothing to worry about financially. He kept telling me he would continue standing by me and making sure I never lacked.
