Here's the real answer.

Standard tape wefts fold hair over adhesive tape, which can create a thicker, stiffer base. Injection tape is different: strands are injected directly into the tape, creating a thinner, more flexible track that lays flatter.

In the video, we measure the width on a ruler so you can see how seamless it is. That low-profile base helps reduce ridging on fine hair and holds up through backcombing and heat.
