Everyone cutting their dreads🫣🤯
We started a "new trend" by accident 😅
Having long dreads is a gread honor to your spirit and they grow with a lot pride. It also curries a lot of weight and thats not the best thing for the health of the body.
Long dreads tent to affect our neck, back, the way we move, sleep or other uses of our 🛏...🤭
Plus it can cause permanent hair loos if there is more weight than our hair can take😬
Every journey has and end, It doesn't have to end with a haircut.🫡
Many people with dreads use to make the choice of totally cutting them off, no need(unless thats what you want💙)
If you have long and heavy dreads you can shorten them properly or even bring them back in healthy condition of loose hair.😁

Growing dreadlocks is a journey that teaches you a lot!
As your dreadlocks grow and you are literally attached to them, removing then might not be what you truly desire.
Truth be told, though, they get really heavy as they get long and impractical as well.
A common feeling that pretty much all people with dreadlocks share is the desire to be free.
Choosing dreadlocks in our society is a kind rebellious act.
By growing dreads you put aside all those opinions on how one "should look" , you put you believe, desire and feeling above all that. Without hurting anyone you simply do you.
At some point in this journey it gets really heavy and hard to move, if you are a person that acts the way I earlier described you are going to have the need to move around!
A lot of people think that the only choice is to shave your head, in order to free your self from what you now experience...nonsense, you can do a lot of thing, your limit is your imagination!
In my beloved sisters case, we reduce the length pretty much half way.
This choice allows her to stay on her dreadlock journey and be able to handle herself easier.

A black heart is still a heart, I almost never use that one in my posts, not today. I don't embrace darkness but darkness is part of us as much as light. My heart has been misplaced for a while...but now I know where I stand🤍
Im so happy for my choice, cutting off my dreadlocks, my life literally changed in my every day life.
I can now move freely and do things that I wasn't able to do for a long time!🙏
I could have simply cut them in half...but i don't do half business, I wanted all or nothing.😌
Having dreadlocks is a journey, life it self is a journey, your actions are your ship and and your beliefs are your compass....you choose your course and you can change it in the way as many time as it takes to get where you need to go.
Our only "oppressor" is our mind, Set yourself free🙏

-Ndeimas- Since I cut off my dreadlocks i noticed a few things...
A lot of people never understood the "why" so i took some time and I explained some of it.
(read 2nd and 3rd picture)
The girl in the 1rst picture visited us for the first time, all you can see it some of our work on her deadlocks, you don't really understand what you see but it's looks "okay" to you...
What you can't see is the 5 hours we spend together and all the things we talked about, that is what is truly happening here.
Except from creating and maintain dreadlocks we talk, we exchange aspects of our beliefs, mind, spirit.
This is what makes a human soul grow and as Rasta people this is what we do...just in case you wonder or never did before. 🤍💙🤍

Yesterday, the impossible became possible!
So this brother had a bad experience at his first try to get his head dreaded and he trusted that he is going to get a better experience and results at 🙏🏼
His hair was shot & in an uneven length.😅
44 dreadlocks were added to his head, built by the very beginning despite the odds.👷♂️
To be totally honest, 3-4 dreadlocks might not stay attached to his head until the next maintenance and for sure we are going to add 2 more dreads next time(at some spots his hair were really short😬)
Brother left the shop 100% satisfied!👌👌🫡🤠
