😂 Mummy, why is your food always sweeter than mine?

Let me tell you something about children. You can cook the same food for everybody, serve it on different plates, and somehow, somebody will still feel cheated! 🤣🤣

One child will look at their sibling's plate and suddenly decide that the food on their own plate is not enough.

“ Mummy, why did you give her more?”

“Why is his own bigger?”

“Can I have that piece instead?” 😭😂

And you are standing there wondering when eating became a competition!

Sometimes I just look at my children and laugh because even the smallest things can become a serious family matter. 😂❤️

But honestly, these little moments remind me that every child has their own personality, and being a mother means learning how to handle all those personalities under one roof.

Please, tell me I'm not the only mother whose children inspect each other's plates before eating! 🤣👇

Come to my kitchen, let’s make some delicious moi moi! 😍🇳🇬❤️

There’s something special about preparing our traditional Nigerian food at home. The process, the aroma, and that first bite when it’s finally ready! 😋🤤

Being a mum doesn’t stop me from enjoying my kitchen moments. Today, moi moi is on the menu! 🥰🍽️

My Nigerians, who is coming to eat? 😂🙋🏽‍♀️

Motherhood in the kitchen! ❤️😂 You’re standing here making moi moi, thinking about what else to cook, what the children will eat, and what everybody will ask for next. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣
A mother’s work never really ends. Even when you finish cooking, somebody will still come and ask, “Mummy, what else is there to eat?” 😂😂
Mothers, please tell me I’m not the only one! 😩❤️

One thing about children? They will repeat your own words back to you! 😂🙈

Sometimes I'm talking to my children, explaining something, and I think they are not really paying attention.

Then, a few days later, I hear the exact same words coming out of their mouths! 😭😂

The way they copy your expressions, your tone, and even the things you say when you're annoyed will surprise you.

You might even hear yourself in the middle of their conversation and think, “Wait a minute… when did you learn to talk like that?” 🤣

That's when you realize that children don't only learn from what we teach them. They also learn from what they watch us do every day.

It makes me more conscious of the example I'm setting, even on ordinary days when I'm not thinking about teaching anybody anything.

I'm raising four children, and I know they are watching more than I sometimes realize. ❤️

Mamas, has your child ever repeated something you said and left you speechless? 😂 Tell me what happened!

😂 One child says, “Mummy, I'm hungry.” The next thing you know, you're running a restaurant! 🍽️🤣

As a mother of four, I've noticed something funny about feeding children.

You can prepare food, call everybody to the table, and suddenly discover that everyone has a different opinion! 😭😂

One person wants more sauce. Another doesn't want the food touching. Somebody says they're not hungry, but five minutes later, they're asking for a snack.

And the child who insisted they were starving? Two bites, and they're full! 😂😂

Meanwhile, you spent time in the kitchen thinking everybody would enjoy the meal you prepared.

Motherhood has taught me that feeding children is not just cooking. Sometimes, it's negotiation, patience, and trying not to ask, “So why did you tell me you were hungry?” 🤣❤️

But tomorrow, I'll still enter that kitchen and do it all over again, because that's part of our everyday family life.

Mamas, which one do you have at home: the child who eats everything or the one who suddenly doesn't like what you cooked? 😂👇

Nobody tells you that raising children also means learning to say, “I'm sorry.” ❤️

When I became a mother, I thought most of my job would be teaching my children what is right and wrong.

But motherhood is teaching me something else, too: I have to keep learning and growing alongside them.

Sometimes I react too quickly. Sometimes I misunderstand what happened. Sometimes I correct them before I have heard the whole story.

And when I realize I was wrong, I have to be willing to admit it.

Being a mother doesn't mean I will always get it right. I'm human, too.

I want my children to understand that saying sorry doesn't make you weak, and being a parent doesn't mean you are always right.

I want them to know that love is not just about giving instructions and expecting respect. It's also about listening, admitting mistakes, and treating each other with kindness.

I'm not raising my children perfectly. I'm learning how to raise them while learning how to be a better version of myself. ❤️

Mamas, have you ever had to apologize to your child after realizing you were wrong? Let's talk. ❤️

😂 The way children can turn a simple instruction into a family meeting!

Sometimes I tell my children, “Please, go and get ready.”

Simple sentence, right? 😂

But before everybody is ready, one person can't find a shoe, another is looking for a jacket, somebody is asking where their water bottle is, and one child is still standing there asking me what to wear! 😭🤣

Meanwhile, I am wondering if we are actually going somewhere or preparing for an international conference. 😂😂

And when I finally say, “Come on, we're late!” suddenly everybody remembers something they forgot to do.

Being a mother has taught me that getting four children out of the house requires planning, patience, and sometimes a little prayer. 🤣❤️

But honestly, these little everyday moments make family life what it is. Never a dull moment in this house!

Mamas, how long does it take you to get your children ready before leaving the house? Be honest! 😂👇

One thing I want my children to remember about me… ❤️🥹

I don't expect my children to remember every meal I cooked, every clothes washed, or every time I made sure they had everything they needed.

But I hope they remember how home felt.

I hope they remember that they could come to me when something was bothering them. That they could make mistakes and still be loved. That even when I corrected them, my love for them never changed.

I know I won't get everything right as a mother. There will be days when I lose my patience, days when I misunderstand them, and days when I wish I had handled things differently.

But I'm learning, too.

I'm raising four children, and every day reminds me that I'm not just taking care of little people. I'm helping to shape the adults they will become.

My prayer is that when they grow up, they will remember a mother who tried, who listened, who apologized when she was wrong, and who loved them in ways they could feel. ❤️

Mamas, when your children are grown, what is the one thing you hope they will always remember about you? 🥹❤️

😂 Nobody prepared me for the amount of things I would have to remember as a mother!

Sometimes I enter a room and forget why I went there. 😭😂

But let one of my children ask me for something, and suddenly I'm expected to remember everything!

“Mummy, where is my school paper?”

“Mummy, did you wash my clothes?”

“Mummy, where did I keep my other shoe?”

“Mummy, don't forget I need this tomorrow!”

My dear, I'm one person! 😂😂

I'm trying to remember what I wanted to do before somebody called me, what needs to be cooked, what is missing, and what must not be forgotten before tomorrow morning.

And the funny thing is, everybody thinks Mummy has everything under control. 🤣❤️

Sometimes, I'm just using my last brain cell and trusting that tomorrow morning will go according to plan!

Motherhood is not just taking care of children; it's managing a whole department inside your head. 😂❤️

Mamas, what is one thing you keep forgetting these days because your mind is occupied with so many things?
